Great Power Center if you need extra USB

Nice size surge protector power bar, there are 10 outlets on the bar (five on each side). It would have been nice to have the outlets placed a little farther apart from each other. If you have a standard plug it will work fine, but if you have an odd shaped or large plug there isn’t enough room to put them next to each other, which causes you to not be able to use the neighboring outlet.

let me first start off by saying, that there is a common misconception about the difference between a regular old power strip, and a surge protector. this is a surge protector, and prevents from electrical damage. both often get confused for being a protective device, which they are not. i can't tell you how many times i have had to remind my elders that a dinky little power strip is not in fact "lightning proof", and is solely meant for extending the number of outlets you have, and will not in any way protect you from all of the above. you need the proper equipment to protect your life, basically..

Super nice! You’re getting a premium product that definitely will fill your need as well as look nice while doing it. I also really loved the packaging and presentation and kept the box to store it in. It will be used lots more as we work on our home remodel.

It's a beast!

This thing is truly a monster! I'm so happy with everything it has to offer we love it! We really needed something to protect our electronics and also to stay organized. This surge protector has 10 outlets so it's perfect for our game room where we have almost everything installed. The best thing about it is the USB hub you have 2 USB ports and 1 USB c so it's perfect to charge your phone or headphones while you watch TV or whatever. The USB hub is detachable it has a 6ft extension cord so you can have it anywhere you want close by. We recently bought a new house and my brother n law was helping us move in and he was so impressed he went and bought one for his game room and office. I'm planning on doing the same it's so worth it!

It’s perfect

I absolutely love this!!! It’s soooo frustrating finding certain outlets for different devices. This power hub is perfect and very convenient. I don’t have to worry about my phone or other expensive devices being ruined because it has a surge protector.

Great for electronics

The Monster Power Center Vertex XL: 5000J Surge Protector, 10 AC Protected Outlets, & Detachable Magnetic Hub with 2 USB-A Ports & 1 USB-C Port is what any household needs. This is a must have for a much needed update to my power strip that I use. There is one issue and it is minor. I had a hard time getting it to stay on my wall. It would be great if it had nail hooks to make it easier to hang. I love that it has a surge protector. It makes me feel safe for my electronics that are hooked to it. This has a USB hub mount which is great. I love this cool feature. If your in the market for a new surge protector this is a much needed consideration.

Fantastic product

Replaced my older somewhat high end surge protector. The first thing that stands out is build quality, well insulated heavy cables, and a hefty weight make it have a premium feel and that it will have great longevity. One of the standout features is an extendable magnetized USB hub with fast charging. I use this to stretch to my pc desk to charge two devices simultaneously, I didn't know what I was missing until I had this handy feature. Fantastic product, highly recommended .

So handy!

I really love this power strip for many reasons. The biggest is that each outlet is spaced out so well. I have trouble with power strips and plugging multiple things in at once, most of the time I have to skip an outlet each time but this one isnt like that. I also love the part where you can plug a usb into it. Perfect for charging our phones and its separate from the power strip itself and magnetic! Great product!

This has turned out to be way beyond my expectations! It has 10 outlets that I don't know that I will fill them all lol. The USB outlets are a blessing (I have attached them to the wall behind my monitor. To simply put it, this thing is a total workhorse.

Best Surge Protector!

What I needed and so much more. I really needed a good performing well built surge protector for my home office and this Monster power center has been a life saver. This has ten grounded outlets, two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. The always needed indicator lights shows protection is active and properly grounded,. The detachable hub is exactly what I needed for easy access to charge my phone and tablet, and it’s mountable with included magnetic plate and 3M sticker. This also has an amazing durable 12 feet total of nylon braided cable, 6ft cord with the 6ft extension from power strip to USB hub. The cord can also be neatly wrapped around the power strip if all those feet are not needed. If you are looking for a new surge protector look no further, absolutely amazing!

Perfect for my Workspace

My work requires me to run several devices at once: three computers, two tablets, and of course, my cell phone. This surge protector powers everything nicely and provides a good level of protection at 5000 joules. I especially appreciate the detachable USB hub. I mounted the magnetic plate on top of my desk where I can easily access it. Works out great.

Excellent device

Got this for my husband and he loves it. We are currently using this behind our entertainment center because it has enough plugs for 10 AC outlets as well as 3 USB charging ports. It has 5000 jewels of surge protection so that gives us peace of mind when storms come through. The detachable charging hub has a magnetic backing to hold it on the side of entertainment center and 6 foot of cord to detach it if necessary. Now, if it could contain all my wires.....LOL!

Worth the Money

This is a high quality surge protector that is convenient for small items. The 6' usb extension is great! It looks great and the packaging was staged well! From the time of unpackaging to the end of charging your phone, it's a product that is worth the money.

Best so far

Absolutely awesome surge protector. Should be a must in every household. It has a long soft cord, 10 (!!!) outlets, and a mountable extension for USB chargers, btw how convenient is that! It also comes with a manual. This surge protector is very reliable and convenient. The ONLY improvement I will eventually make is I will use removable 3M strips instead of a permanent one for mounting USB extension.

Oh what a splendid addition to my arsenal of tools and helper gadgets. When I opened the package, I was taken aback with the wonderful display of the Monster Power Center XL5000J Surge protector. With 10 ports It makes the task of enlarging the number of electrical ports easy. 10 ports is a true luxury. There is a 6ft long braided nylon cord, this gadget is truly a class act. But this is just the beginning. It includes a 6ft detachable magnetic hub to charge phones and tablets. Total available power in the attachment is 32W. Included are 2 USB A ports and a full 20 Watt USB C port for fast charging techniques used by the latest phones and tablets.

Well Thought Out

Once I got over being wowed at the fancy packaging & the USB magnetized hub on a 6' long cord, I noticed some very well thought out design extras I wish would be on every surge protector. Tops is the way cord storage is built into the unit. Both the AC & USB cords fit in recesses, so they can be unwrapped just to the right length needed, w/ no giant hunk of unwieldy excess wrapped up w/ a twist tie. Another nice feature is the silicone non-slip backing on the unit so it stays put & won't scratch. Overall a very solid, smartly designed surge protector.

I love this power center!

It has 10 outlets and a USB hub that’s detachable. One USB-C port! I love the read and black colors and the braided nylon cords. The surge protection is 5000J. Very sleek and easy to place because the back has a silicone base. Even the box it comes in pretty! Really cleaned up my tv area for the better!
