Nowhere near 2 inches thick

Why advertise that it’s 2 inches thick when it’s clearly not? It’s a nice rug, and I don’t hate it - but it’s definitely not what I wanted when I placed an order for a two inch pile rug. My last one was 2.6 inches and from this same brand. I wanted something a bit less hefty, but still plush, so this seemed like a great option. But this is just…. a regular flimsy rug, with some slightly fluffier patches. Maybe .75 inch TOPS in the fluffier areas, if that? For the price this is a perfectly fine low-pile rug for someone that wants one, but dealing with returns process then waiting around for another rug because of just plain misinformation here is very irritating. I’m keeping it because I don’t have a better option, and we’ll just get a new one when we move next year I guess. But what an unnecessary pain. Change the description so people can order what they actually want.

This is a really nice quality rug! The multi texture is visually interesting and feels SO GOOD under the feet. My dogs have taken to laying on it. The tassels are about 3 inches long and will definitely get caught in a roommate. I set a no-go zone for my roomba to prevent it from getting caught and just vacuum this rug w a standing vacuum.

Perfect touch!

I absolutely love this rug! It is so pretty and the thick white fluffy areas are so soft. It was delivered while family was visiting and and everyone loved it. My two year old granddaughter rubbed her feet into the thick fluffy areas and then proceeded to sit down and rub it with her hands. 😂 It is well made and the color is true to the pictures. The tassels are secure and add a beautiful edge. Honestly I’m considering getting another one for my bedroom!

Poor quality

I’d been searching for a new area rug for my living room for several months and loved the design and colors of this one, despite the tassels. I get tons of compliments on it and still like the colors, but the different levels of pile make it impossible to clean and the tassels easily snag when vacuuming. If you have anything (dogs, kids, etc.) in your home that makes a mess do not buy this rug. My dogs have had a few accidents on it and it does not clean up well at all. I paid over $** for it and have only had it for a few months and it’s already ruined. Several of the tassels have come apart, debris gets easily snagged/stuck in the lower pile, and just vacuuming has caused the lower pile to start coming apart. Love the color and design, but the quality is horrible for the cost.

The rug is beautiful and of a nice quality. There is the problem that the ends turn up. Update: it is a year later and the ends are still an issue. The rug also gets dirty relatively easily under very low traffic. I would recommend a no shoes policy. Another warning is that I didn’t anticipate my pets being so attracted to the tassels. My cat and my dog both love playing with them. For this reason several have come unbraided. I have tried futilely to braid them again but my efforts are clumsy and obvious. All this to say that to maintain the rug it needs very mild use in a home with only a couple of adults. I would not recommend to anyone not willing to deal with a high maintenance rug.

Very nice, soft and fluffy!

When I got this rug in and unrolled it, I was kind of disappointed that it was all flat but then I ran my hands through the fluffy parts and they poofed right up. It took a few days for the wrinkles from being rolled up to flatten out but that's normal for how tightly it was rolled. Now that it's all settled flat, it's amazing. My cats agree, they love laying on the thicker raised parts. Honestly I wish I would have gotten the next size up but I was on a budget when I placed the order lol. If you're on the fence, take the leap, it's a great rug and has so far held up against foot traffic and crazy kitties. But we also don't wear shoes in the house so that helps. First photo is the day it came in, immediately after being unrolled. Second photo is after a few days (don't mind the sleeping boyfriend lol). Third photo is after about 2 weeks. Only problem is I don't know how to effectively vaccum it with the different pile thicknesses! It's light enough I may just take it out to the balcony and shake it out occasionally.

Stunning rug for light traffic areas

This rug looked even better in person than it did online! We did have some tassels that came undone/unraveled within the first week, however I’m not convinced that was a ‘quality’ issue as much as it was a ‘four curious kids/toddlers in the house’ issue hahaha! That being said - for light traffic areas, this rug is a must!! The colors are earthy and neutral, and the texture is absolutely dreamy when walking with bare feet. I would absolutely buy this again to be used in a formal living room, a guest bedroom, or a home office. However… due to the nature of the texture/pile, it hasn’t been ideal in our high traffic living room. With children and constant traffic, it has matted and flattened quite noticeably in the center where it sees the most use. Again - beautiful rug that I would definitely purchase in a different season of life (I’m looking at you, empty nesters and those of you without children :)!!), but it wasn’t a wise purchase considering the current stage that our family is in (kids ranging in age from 2 to 11) and the amount of back and forth that this particular area sees on a daily basis. Just something to note - if the area will be well traveled, I would suggest a less textured option. It’s something I should have considered, but the thought of the ‘wear and tear’ never even crossed my mind, so I’m hoping to shed some light for anybody else who may have to contend with the same type of abuse in regards to their flooring/rug options.

Manufacturers cut a few corners, overall beautiful

I could have given this rug 5 stars for just being beautiful. But I want to be thorough. I purchased the tan color, and it looks exactly how I hoped. Out of the wrapping it did not lay flat, but it didn’t take long to manipulate the corners and give it some time to rest. This photo is after one hour. My primary complaint are the finished corners. They appear to be sewn down, but they are not. The corners are finished with GLUE. Here is a side by side comparison of two corners. The fold separated and the glue here is hard and dry. I didn’t pull it apart, it arrived this way. I can probably fix it with a DIY hack. Given the huge discount/sale price, I’m surprised the rug is as nice as it looks, and I’m happy with what I paid. It slides around a lot on my wood floor so I’ll have to purchase a rug pad. This will be extra built in cost if the rug won’t be anchored down by furniture. I would purchase again, and probably will her some of the other sizes.

Gasp! What a rug!

This rug is really aesthetically pleasing and really ties in the luxe comfort vibe that I was going for. While searching for a rug, I stumbled upon this design and was originally a little worried about the tassels and also thought it might be too boho for me, but I found myself coming back to view this rug over and over again-and I’m glad I did. It’s so soft and plush without a rug pad (although I will eventually get one) and provides dimension with it’s varying pile heights and design. I gasped when I opened it up and absolutely love how it defines my space. Was packaged very well for a large rug and came fairly quickly. It still has areas that are not completely laying flat yet and I hope vacuuming won’t be an issue. But overall, highly recommend!
