Beautiful Piece

The dresser is timeless and beautiful. Unfortunately, there is a horrible smell from the kiln that still hasn’t gone away after a month. I don’t know yet if it is worth the beauty of the dresser. I still haven’t been able to functionally use it yet.

Chalky white paint

While the dresser itself is beautiful, the paint left a chalky white finish all over my clothing and was chipped in several places upon arrival. The drawers also did not line up perfectly when fully closed, and the paint continued to chip even with very gentle use.

Keep looking

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but if you (like me) have been searching for the perfect modern white dresser, keep looking, this isn’t it! Our first Maci dresser arrived with a broken leg. Customer service was great in getting a second one ordered (albeit we had to wait another 4 weeks). The new one arrived today and looked fine at delivery, but once we started opening drawers to put things away, we realized how subpar the construction is on this dresser. The whitewash finish is very flat and chalky. It you brush against it, it leaves a white powder on your clothes, even after wiping it down. The interior drawers are rough and discolored (red splotches?) and do not close smoothly. The quality just isn’t there. For the cost of this dresser, I expected so much more.

Had the strongest chemical smell ever. The smell wouldn’t go away even after a month. Worst finish ever. The paint is chalky and literally comes off like dust.

Beautiful but fragile

Love this dresser. It took 3 deliveries to get one that wasn't damaged beyond what I could allow. The one I kept still has issues, but not so badly that I didn't keep it. Customer service was helpful throughout. Love the modern lines.

Peeling Paint

Don’t buy this dresser if you live in a “dry” climate. The paint peels right off and the manufacturer and seller claim there is nothing they can do.

Strong Paint Odor

dresser arrived with a VERY strong odor. i am waiting patiently to receive a call back from customer service. the bedroom door has to remain closed due to the smell. please help!
