I bought this desk a few years back, but only used it about three years and then I moved. I moved to the new place in the one side would not go up. I emailed their customer service and thank you to Joey. He brought a part to my attention that I easily was able to adjust and it works great. This unit is made very very well and sturdy and I love it. Thank you so much mount it and Joey.!!

Good frame, used teak butcher block counter top

I bought two and now have two very nice stand up desks with 48x30 teak butcher block counter tops. I just wish one of these companies would make stand up desks with easily replaceable motors. Since they don't, I got these and I don't expect any problems out of them down the road. It makes a solid desk and I am very happy with it.

I really wanted a manual standing desk that is high quality (not Ikea) and the ability to get a walnut top and not particleboard. It is a heavy top 72” x 26” but it goes up and down like a champ, all the pieces of the desk feel really solid

Very sturdy, I mounted a butcher block island countertop on mine for a desk. The manual raise and lower function works great and assembly was easy.

The unit is sturdy, stable and easy to put together. Went to Lowes for the table top - 3/4 inch plywood.

Great sit stand frame

Easy to assemble. Super sturdy. Smooth and easy up & down crank. Very reasonable price. Added a plywood top (use 3/4” so screws don’t come through).

Solidly built.

The frame is very sturdy. It took me 20 minutes to assemble. The hand crank was a little short compared to my table top.

Excellent quality. Great value.

Excellent quality desk base. I only need to turn the crank 25 revolutions to get it to the right standing height for my 5' 5" frame. That does not take very long and works smoothly. The hand crank shaft might need lubricant/grease for ease of pushing in/out--the instructions don't indicate if this is needed/appropriate--knocked off one star for this. Topped my base with a gorgeous 2' x4' acacia wood butcher block top from Home Depot. Very satisfied with the outcome over the other choices on the market. The assembly and positioning of the desk is a two-person job.

High-Quality, Very Robust, Excellent Value

Very pleased. As someone noted, the photos are old. The legs are now square and the crossbar is now in two pieces, not three. But it's quite strong and solid even at full height. We shopped just about every manual crank desk frame online and settled on this one. To address questions we had: The max allowable depth of the top is about 36" unless you mount the top off center or buy a hex rod to extend the handle. (ours is 48" wide, close to the minimum practical width).The handle slides out a few inches to use plus it folds up, but to provide clearance so you don't accidentally scrape the desktop while cranking, the folding handle will still project out slightly (no problem). The included hardware works great for a 1" thick top but the screws might be too long for a 3/4" top, at least without spacers. Instructions are adequate; good if mechanically minded but potentially a lilttle confusing if not. Slightly harder to crank going down than going up--which might foreshadow future problems--but for now, it's very smooth. Very pleased. The biggest challenge may be getting a wooden desktop (from another vendor) shipped without damage. I lost count of the number of reviews who commented and ours had a ding caused by something punching into the side of the box. That became the underside of the desk and isn't even visible now (just above the crossbar). No matter what, it's a big ,flat corrugated box. If you have a local source, consider using it rather than having one shipped, even in these COVID times.

It seems like a good desk! I was able to put it together myself and the separate top worked fine.
