Used a can, over a period of time, in spaghetti multiple times. What I did was once the meat was done rehydrating, I ended up frying it more until I saw browning. Then I added spaghetti sauce. Seems to work well doing that. Taste is really good IMO. They are crumbles but don't really break apart, so I expect they could be used in stews and soups. Pretty versatile. Would love beef sausage flavor option.

Worked great for pemmican

I ordered this so I could make my own pemmican bars because you can’t order pemmican from the US to Canada and no one sells it in Canada. It worked well for my purposes, the meat was perfectly dehydrated,

The product arrived just as pictured. I have not tried consuming any of it, because it is part of my emergency food supply!

Tasted great, just like fresh cooked ground beef

I had this partcular can of ground beef since late 2020-early 2021. I live in the country and had a granchildren show up to eat and want spaghetti "emergency." I had no ground beef so opened this and was pleasantly surprised. It was great by itself and in the spaghetti. I am wondering if the person who complained about it just didnt reconstitute it correctly. I just have mountain house for prepping, but now know the meat is great for just plain eating as well.

Great taste and good protein source

I repackage these into smaller vacuum sealed, zip lock bags. And then use them on long distance hikes like the Pacific Crest Trail and Appalachian Trail. I boil water and use them with ramen and dehydrated vegetables for a great, moderate cost meal. Super tasty and healthful.

I tasted Mountain house foods in the past to make sure it is something I would eat. It was tasty. With that said, I have not eaten it in quite some time, but are stocking up my hurricane food. This way I do not have to prepare every year. Buy it once, and your hurricane or emergency box is done for 30 years.
