Very pretty as advertised. Reduced stars due to the light weight of the lamp base. This makes it easy to tip over. I had to add weight for more stability.

Needed a lamp with a slim, understated profile to tuck into and softly brighten a corner. This one suits that purpose perfectly. Well made, stable and extremely easy to assemble. Shade is lined and beautifully diffuses the light. Warm, rich brown stand and pole add to the lamp’s appearance.

The overall look of the lamp is appealing however, the finish on the base does not mimic a wood finish. I was able to spray paint the the base and it looked a lot better. The shade is what gravitated me toward this purchase.

Not what it show in photos or description

The photos make it look like the pole is one long piece and nice, dark walnut. Nope, its 3 pieces of crappy reddish looking "wood" that you screw together with black spacers between the sections. I really wanted to like them (I ordered two), but after having them set up for a few days, nope, just not going to cut it. Looks too cheap. I'm taking them back asap.

Returned. It is a very short lamp—. Quality looked to be good.

Overall the lamp is great - perfect size and style. The quality of the pole and the alignment of the sections could be better - but for the price I cant complain too much

Cheap color, looks ugly

The lamp color is ugly. It looks like natural wood on the picture. However, in real life, its covered with very cheap ugly brown paint.

I am very pleased with this lamp. It looks good; was very easy to assemble and the lighting is just the right amount.

Poor finish quality.

The size and shape of this lamp are appealing, the quality of the finish not so much. I ordered a pair of lamps in the walnut color and was disappointed to see the color was distinctly reddish - mahogany red, not at all brown. The finish was a poorly applied spray and there were open checks in the surface. The lampshade is very nice and I decided to keep the lamps. In order to make them work I took the shade off and spray painted the red colored wood in a black matte finish. The lamps now work for me and I’m happy.

Overall I like the lamp but there were a few scratches and the lamp poles didn't quite line up properly . Packaging could have been better, styrofoam was everywhere after opening box.
