This light looks nice and the finishes are good but the overall quality of construction is a little poor. Installation was straightforward and easy but the light doesn’t fasten to the mount as snugly as it could so the entire arm is a bit wobbly. On top of that, the arm doesn’t swing smoothly because it doesn’t pass all the way through the wall base. If you’re just going to hang this and leave it in place it’s fine but if you need to adjust it with any regularity it’s less than ideal

Globe Electric has made a great wall hanging sconce light. The matte black finish gives a great look combined with the antique brass accents. The inside of the 6" diameter shade is painted white to give off a even bright light pattern. I scratched the shade during some rough handling prior to install and it showed a layer of white paint under the matte black finish. A LED bulb is included (800 lumens, 3000K), uses regular base light bulbs (E26 base), and can handle up to a 60 watt bulb. Installation is quick and easy with the included hardware and mounting bracket. Note this cannot be mounted on a ceiling or horizontally, it must be mounted to a wall. The arm swings both directions, and the shade rotates and pivots so you can quickly move the light where you want it. The lamp has a reach of about 24" from the wall. The 6.5 ft long power cord has a nice black braided cloth covering with a toggle switch (24" from lamp base) and ends with a 2-prong polarized flush plug.

The Globe Electric Mullin 1-Light Matte Black Plug-In Wall Sconce with Antique Brass Accent and LED Bulb Included Globe Electric Mullin 1-Light Matte Black Plug-In Wall Sconce with Antique Brass Accent and LED Bulb Included is a very nice and easy light to install wherever you need a spot/focused light. Our MBD is so dark at night (the way we like it), but with a baby on the way, this light is perfect to use at 2am and potentially not wake up my husband as I wont have to turn on our overhead light (which before this light install, was the only light that provided enough light for me to be able to see). The only con is that the anchors dont seem heavy duty enough for the weight of this light (especially if you extend it out all the way).

We like this lamp for a work/desk area as it can be adjusted in horizontal and vertical direction. Keep in mind it extends up to 24" off the wall. It is suited for large work area or for reading corners. The cloth wrapped black power cord is a nice touch and the power-line switch allows for easy installation plugging into a standard outlet. The lamp has a nice appearance and is easy to install. The installation requires to slide the lamp over the wall plate's two screws, before tightening those. Unfortunately those screws are in the center of the wall plate and the lamp pivots down due to it's cantilever design, leaving a visible gap on top. This will have to be corrected by drilling a hole and installing a small sheet metal screw towards the top of the mounting plate, to stabilize the lamp on the mounting plate.

Love it!

Excellent light

The shade part of the lamp is larger than expected but it lends to the high quality overall. We mounted it on the wall at the end of the couch over a small table to save space. Love how it can swing over the couch if needed.

Absolutely beautiful! Gives off just the right amount of light and has a modern look without being too modern! Also, love that I can plug in OR hardwire! Using for condo in Mexico, and they are fabulous! It is so hard to find good looking pieces down there without a ridiculous price tag! These are very well priced for the quality and look.

Nice looking Mid Century Modern at a GREAT Price

It is really an attractive light. It looks and feels higher quality than the price for sure. It is really easy to hang-took me less than 10 minutes. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the mounting bracket does not work to hold the light flush against the wall. The light pulls forward slightly causing it to look like it is leaning a tiny bit forward on some angles. It's not terrible, you just can't get everything perfectly level.
