The BEST hamster cage.

I would know. Thru a series of unfortunate events I currently have 13 Teddy bear hamsters. So when I say I have tried darn near all reasonable price cages. A couple over$100. This is hands down the Easiest to clean. Easiest to put together. Best all around cage!! I have worked up to having 6 of them now. Giving away the extra cages to a friend. I couldn't be happier with this cage.

Way to small

Hamsters need cages that are AT LEAST 600 square inches. Anything less is very bad for the hamster. This cage is tiny, has no room for bedding, and the wheel is way to small for even a dwarf hamster.

Different Experience than Others

We got this cage for our robo hamster because she was regularly escaping from the other cage we had. This things is great! Kind of a pain to put together, but well worth it. The wheel is whisper-quiet, which is amazing because the old wheel in the original cage was unbelievably loud. It took ours several days to go to the upper level, but now she’s up there all the time. The four stars is because the ramps in the upper portion could use with some nubs or friction because she slides down them a lot and has to find other ways to navigate. We did try both sides of the ramps, but that didn’t help.

it came broken on the front plastic door ,a long crack runs through it! but we taped it up and used it as we needed a home for our hamster right then.

I love this product and my boy Shaq loves it as well, I have 3 other Gerbils that don’t like Shaq so I had to get him his own place. This order came super fast!

Great cage

This cage is amazing for dwarf hamsters! I have a dwarf hamster and she love it she does get a little confused on how to get to her wheel but she loves it!

I like the design but I’m not impressed over all

I like the clear window part of the cage, I disliked how difficult it was to put the pieces together, the directions are not clear, I had to guess at some pieces. I did eventually get it put together. Also I have a small breed of hamster and the wheel seems a little to small even for him.

Wanted to love but disappointed

Great concept and I really wanted to love this cage but our hamsters keep getting out. The wire part of the cage is not good for dwarf hamsters. They can squeeze through and get out.

Not appropriate size for hamster

This cage is too small. It does not allow enough bedding for hamsters to burrow (which is one of their natural instincts and is necessary). Hamsters need at least 600 square inches of space to live a good life that imitates the wild. While this cage is not the worst one ever, it’s still not quite big enough for a hamster. I recommend investing in a bin cage and if a premade wooden one is too much money, you could use a storage bin and replace the top with chicken wire for under $30. This will allow the hamster to have more bedding to burrow in, more accessories to keep busy with (like branches to climb on, chews, a good size wheel). Overall a bin cage would be the way to go in my opinion. Again this is just from my experience. I had a hamster in a small cage like this and that resulted in stress behaviors such as chewing on the cage, but once I upgraded to a larger cage, she was much happier

Hamster can escape

We bought this for our dwarf hamsters. After a day I was missing one only to find it walking on floor. Put it back and she showed us how she got out thru the door

it’s literally trash it almost cost my hamsters life! do not buy!!!!

Fun

It was a little hard to put together and one of the hamster got out. But fun watching them in it

Hamster Cage

I really love how easy it is to set up. works well with my other hamster cage as an add on. It's very big too. I give it 5 stars.

This cage is absolutely amazing it did take some time to put together though but I’m not mad it’s well sized not that heavy and it has all of the pieces that your hamster mice rat or other small animal would need and there are many access points to grab the pet from and it came in exactly 3 days which was the time it told me it would come so I am very pleased with this package and I can’t wait to use it

My daughter researched and selected this habitat for her dwarf hamster and the arrangement and overall size are great. She set it up and made Snowball comfy right away.

Very good and worth the price

It's goes together really well and is very sturdy. Our mini Hamster loves it and uses every part of it. The only kind of difficult part but probably good are the two latches at the top are kind of difficult to turn to lock the clear top in place. Otherwise it's a very nicely built.
