Not worth the money

I liked the fact it does not have a large foot print, so it fits well in a small space, however, it is missing a piece that I believe holds it together in the center. It is the part you release before you lay it down, and it has large gaps in the back and on the sides, that don't look to good if centered in a room. It was difficult to put together because pieces did not line up. I am honestly not very happy with it.

Perfect for my space and quite comfortable

Overall, I love this sleeper sofa! I had looked for a long time because I have a small space. I knocked one star off because the seat is very shallow, something that I did not pick up on when looking at the measurements even with that, I find this very comfortable; and it is very firm so people need to know that. I wish they had more colors, but I did add color to mine with pillows. Another great thing about this sofa is that a robot vacuum will easily fit underneath it!

You get what you pay for...not bad

Requires 2 people strong people to lift the box. Nice that you don't have to assemble. I am pleasantly surprised. You have to screw in the *plastic* legs but I did that myself & was able to flip the couch over myself. The leg positioning took time to figure out.

Not a bad little sofa/sleeper and will work for me

This sofa/sleeper is okay. It looks nice and I purchased because it was priced right and needed for home office/guest room. Storage is a plus, delivered right to your door a plus and added cushions a plus. Assembly was easy enough for my hubby but it is not the sturdiest little thing. The fabric is okay but the thickness of seating is minimal so not sure how long will last. I bought a mattress topper but haven't used as bed yet. For my purpose, it will do but when you sit on it, you hear it "creak" a little, that's why I mentioned it isn't the sturdiest piece of furniture. Low backing also.

Beautiful design, good futon

Really nice couch, pretty much identical to picture. It was easy to put together and the futon part of it is comfortable for one person to sleep. I like the storage section under the seat as well. The box was pretty torn up by the time it got to me and there were two small dots of stains on the arm piece. I was able to remove them with a tide laundry stick. I wouldn't want to get stains on this again tho, it's cloth material. Legs are plastic but look like wood. Overall nice couch.

Not worth the money or trouble

I was hesitant to get this couch due to the mixed reviews. But I was optimistic and took a risk. The backrests are uneven, one sits taller than the other. The metal leg drawn in the instructions for when setting up the bed is missing. It is comfortable though and the material feels like high quality and easy to clean. I didn't return it because the box ripped along the folds and it's extremely heavy and bulky to re-box. I also read in another review that the company charges $*** to return. I've given this company too much money already. Spend yours somewhere else!

Nice value

I am very pleased with this purchase. I was a bit skeptical because it got mixed reviews- but for me it was great. It was great that it came in a box that my husband could readily get up to the apartment over our garage. He put it together in just a few minutes and had no trouble with getting anything to fit together properly. The arms are fine and while it would have been nicer if the legs were real wood, the plastic ones look fine and are secure and sturdy. The fabric is thick llke canvas but has a soft surface. There are no flaws or discoloring in the fabric. I ordered the gray and the only thing that about it that is not quite as expected is that it is an odd shade of gray. It has a brownish undertone depending on the lighting. It is firm which I happen to like and it does have a low back which is also fine by me because I wanted something compact.

Piece of crap - sales baiting. I ordered this based on the photo from the website (for my mother)and expected a medium blue sofa with a higher back and no gap between the cushions. What received was not the color shown on the website- see the photos with a lower back and some crappy gap between cushions. THIS IS A SOFA SLEEPER! Who wants a gap in it?? We will be returning this for a refund. I hope my mom kept the box. Colors are not even close and don't tell me it's the lighting either Both are well light. Shame on you OVERSTOCK!! 😡😡😡 Website photo on the left and what was received on the right

I'll start with the positives of this couch. It is a good size for my studio apartment. Can comfortably fit 2 people, 3 might be a little cozy bit not tight. Cute to decorate. And it was easy to assemble. Add a couple pillows and a throw blanket and it is decently comfortable. I would give the sitting comfort a 5/10. certainly parts of the couch at unaligned. I had to use a mallet to hammer some of the pegs in place. Easy to do but with it being a new couch, I would prefer to not have to hammer parts of the couch in place. 2) after converting it to the sleeper, there are 2 holes that appeared ( it looks like right where the couch folds). 3)the storage is minimal, I could maybe store a couple of thin blankets but nothing too big or bulky. I don't think I would recommend for a long time use couch but for short term or like an office space or a studio,I think it would be great.

Good quality, but check fasteners count B4 assembl

THE GOOD: Arrived in short order, 4 days via UPS. UPS are animals, so box was tattered but packed well. Unboxed and saw it was 99% assembled. I was easily able to split it in half with removal of 2 bolts to make it lighter and fit through a narrow door on our motor yacht. Assembled quickly (Mostly, more about that in the BAD) and operates as it should. Bonus of 2 throw pillows also. Storage, removable arms for sleeping and very comfy. Fabric looks strong and tough. AND it fit in the back of a Volkswagen Tiguan once t was split in half! HOW NICE THAT WAS! THE BAD: Arrived due to UPS with bent frames for side attachment. However, bending back with BIG pliers was done. THEN as I was 75% assembled, there were not enough blots! Missing 4. A trip to the hardware store solved this but was not in the plans. OVERALL: A great value and looks GREAT! Yes, I would buy again!

Meets needs in small space, attractive & versatile

I ordered this for my new, small apartment that has difficult access for moving any large furniture. I'm looking forward to having house guests. I'm 5ft, 110lbs with a bad back, so I did need some assistance pulling it out of the box and flipping it over to put on the legs. The legs do seem a bit suspect for durability, as they are plastic and the angle that they attach feels a bit concerning - I would not put a heavy person on it, but it seems sturdy enough right now. The right and left half do not fully line up - as a few other reviewers noted, but I'm just putting a throw over it. I haven't used it as a bed, yet. I did order a full size memory foam to put over it so I can sleep on it, as it's firm. It's not the "soft, sink yourself into," sofa. But it's comfortable enough and looks very nice for guests to sit in when I start entertaining again. All in all, it's the best sofa I found with the versatility and what feels like innovative and good construction. It will need care in opening and closing for a bed, but I would use care regardless. I am very happy about it so far

This couch is so nice! We bought this for our boat and it's perfect. It's comfy, looks great, and most importantly fit through the small door. Also in case you're transporting it anywhere, the box also fit right in the back of my Nissan Rogue with the back seats down so it's really not bulky at all. It really doesn't take up much extra space when you slide it out into a bed and has extra storage under the seats which is a plus. It comes out about less than a foot when it's in the bed mode. The main feature we were looking for was space which is why I'm mainly talking out how it fits everywhere so if that's also a concern for you in making the purchase I hope this helps! Definitely recommend!

Really awesome couch especially for the price.

Got my sofa over a month ago and I haven't been able to take it out. I just put it together today and I absolutely love it. It really is a good looking piece of furniture. Last time I bought a couch online it was extremely hard and the fabric was very itchy. This one is firm but it's very nice and it's also soft. It's not velvety buttery soft but it's a comfortable soft, like you don't even think about sitting down on it with the shorts on. I am super super happy with it and I'm thankful everything is OK with it also since it took me a long time to put together.

Awful quality

The box arrived barely intact, which wasn't surprising after reading other reviews. The arm rests were torn. Also not surprising. The two sides of the couch didn't line up properly and clearly crooked. Somewhere also the way the metal frame bent. Either in shipping or manufacturing. The feet of the couch are a low quality, hollow plastic. I'm surprised they held the couch up. The seat of the couch is small. The only way you can relax on the couch sideways is if you are a child, and the arm rests aren't designed to hold lateral weight. The whole things feels like it will tear, sag, or break off you don't sit on it delicately. The warped frame is why I've decided to return the couch. The only upside is that it was easy to take apart and put into its shipped position.

Damaged during shipping but we still love it

The box arrived and it looks like it fell off of the truck...a few times. We unpackaged it and it does look like the frame was bent a bit. If you look at the photo that is a closeup of where the 2 sections meet, you can see at the top that they don't line up. But, it still opened and closed just fine, the function was not affected, and it was fine for our kids media room. We love it. I do wish it had arrived undamaged, but that is the risk you take when a large item like this is shipped. It's a very firm sofa. It is fine for what we are going to use it for, and it was actually very comfortable when I had to sleep on it the other night when hubby was snoring. Overall we are really happy with the purchase.

Best Purchase Ever

I was on the fence about buying a couch online but that turned out to be the best option. I was moving from a spacious one bedroom to a micro studio so I needed a sofa that had storage and could turn into a bed for guests. I saw one from IKEA that was pricey so decided to look online. This sofa was on sale and was the perfect size for my small space. It came in a matter of days. The box is sooooo heavy and large, it took 3 of us to lift it. If you have to lift this please ask for help or get a dolly. Assembly was done by one person in like 7 minutes tops. When it was all set up it looked so great and modern. It came with two 16 inch pillows that are nice and plush. However, I did not keep them on the couch. It's pretty firm but I like it. I've also tested it out and slept on it. It's comfy for a short term guest. Maybe invest in a mattress topper if someone will be using it often. The storage is so great. It can hold a lot of things. One the first side I have a THICK queen sized comforter. One the other side I have a rolled up runner rug and so much room left over if I ever neeeed the space. I had 3 pillows under there before! I am so glad that I took the plunge to order this. Also this is very easy to clean. I did have to scotch guard it because of its light color. But even when I spill, I use vinegar or dish soap and the stain comes right up.

This coach is heavy...

We ordered two of them for our living room, which is on the second floor of our town house. The delivery was made to our door and the courier was kind enough to drop the boxes into the garage. The boxes came pretty beaten up. Most of the boxes were taped, re-taped, torn etc. However the coach came wrapped in vinyl inside the box. We opened the wrap and carried the first one upstairs in pieces. However the main piece is the folded coach, which cannot be broken further, and it constitutes almost 90% of the weight, and believe me, it is not light. Two people carried it upstairs, and there is no handle or anything to help you hold it while carrying. The frame is made of steel, and it is quite heavy, so heavy that once it fell on my toes, it really hurt... Anyway, few pieces to assemble, but not breezy. Legs are made of plastic, which was rather a surprise. Screws were little tight. To be able to slide the rails of the arm rests, I had to liberally oil the rail and slide assembly. It is not possible to slide the arm rests to its place without oil. We carried the second piece upstairs a week later without opening the wrap. My wife says she injured her back while pushing. That heavy. Overall, the coach is on the firm side. You can feel the frame under your legs while sitting. We tell the kids not to jump on them as the legs are plastic. Arm rests are very firm with minimal cushion.

A Well-Made Futon

I got this in blue and it looked as pictured online. However, I would hesitate to call this a sofa; it's certainly more of a very well made futon. PROS: The futon is very comfortable, and the seat depth is pleasantly wide. I'm about 5'3" and 140lbs, and I find that the support is adequate, though the seat cushions feel like they'll depress quickly with heavy use. The fabric is smooth and would not be grating to sleep on at all. Truly easy to assemble. I did it by myself in under 30 min, and most of it was struggling to lift it out the packaging. The back doesn't have the obvious "futon" look since they covered it with fabric, which I greatly appreciate. Came with two nicely stuffed throw pillows. CONS: I had one issue with the sofa in that one of the leg's screws couldn't be screwed due to metal over the threads of the hole, but it doesn't seem to affect the overall stability of the couch. The armrests are not too stable, nor comfortable.
