Solid material. easy to put together, love the walnut color. I purchased 6" memory foam twin in size fits perfect. I would recommend this product to anyone. And the prize is awesome.

Buyer beware

This will not fit a twin mattress unless it is squishy foam. A standard twin is 75”. This measures 73.5. I could squish my portable foam mattress in but there is no way my latex mattress would fit. And since the “only” issue is that it doesn’t fit, I would have to pay the shipping. After taking it apart and repackaging.

Looks Good - Price is Good

While not fine furniture the piece looks nice especially for the price. Mine came with a small crack in one of the rails of the backboard - not to severe or structural and a little glue and clamp fixed it. Assembly really does require both something to support the backboard/headboard/foot-board when assembling and a second person to help. A mallet to tap in the dowels also helps. Once the bed is assembled you place the 2 sets of slats (spaced with webbing) on the bottom side rails and screw them down. My first screw driven in cracked the wood of the side rail. I had to drill pilot holes for all of the subsequent holes to try to prevent further cracking. This step should really be included in the instructions.

Not difficult to assemble (take your time and either have someone assist or be prepared with some support for the opposite end while attaching hardware). Quality is good. Looks very nice and is a great solution for a quick twin bed need. Did not want a trundle, so that is fine. With proper "daybed cover" looks sofa-ish, rather than bedroom-ish, which is what we wanted. Looks pretty much like photo. Delivered on-time, as needed. Have used it about 1 month now. Met my expectations.
