I originally bought this rug for our new camper van, but it really isnt meant for that type of wear and tear. Within a few weeks of use, some of the little knotted pieces were beginning to come undone. Using a regular vacuum or even the hand attachments should be avoided, as this will unknot some of the pieces.

This is very high quality and actually better than I expected. It is colorful and fairly thick, so it pads a noisy wooden floor very nicely. We love how it looks. We've bought several Safavieh rugs and none have disappointed.

At first we thought these rugs were great. But now having them at a little over one year, we feel we need to tell our experience to protect someone else from buying them. Small chunks of the rugs started coming out in just a few months. But now there are big chunks of the rug pieces are coming out. They look awful!!

I LOVE THESE RUGS!

I LOVE THESE RUGS! So much so, that this is the third home in which I am placing them. They give a decidedly "Bohemian" vibe, which is what I want. I get so many compliments on them each time I install them. They are easy to clean and care for. An added bonus, they are a bit scruffy so my dogs like them to scratch their backs!

I love this brand. It is pretty much all I buy. This isn't the loop type I usually get, but I like the change up and all the bright colors. It reminds me of the rug my grandma had that looks like it is made of scrap quilt pieces! LOVE

Fibers Are Hard as a Rock!

Just received this rug. It is not plush like it looks Online! The pattern is nice BUT the fibers are hard as a rock! The colors vary from the pic also. I will allowed time to see if the rug gets softer and easy to walk on. Right now, it hurts my feet to walk on this rug! I am disappointed in this Safavieh product.

I bought this rug for my daughter's 'big girl' bedroom makeover. It's a total hit! Soft under foot, durable, and will adapt to style changes as she enters her teen years. Definitely colorful, hides well. I didn't use a rug pad, as it easily stays in place under bedroom furniture.

This rug was sent to me in the multi. I sent an email to the Home Depot and never got a response on how to exchange it. This picture leads me to believe that it should be very blue and mine only has a little blue in it. I like the size of the rug but the color is wrong. Mine is more like a rainbow. I was hoping to have another one shipped so I could compare them and then return the original that was sent. I haven't heard anything back. Disappointed.

The rug looked wonderful for the first two weeks. Slowly some of the hooking came loose and there were several spots where the loop came undone and I had to cut it off to keep the height consistent. It is a beautiful rug but I was expecting something sturdier. I moved it to an extremely low traffic area to keep it from coming apart.

Pretty rug, poor quality

Rug arrived and looks great. However, within a couple weeks it started losing pieces of fabric that were found lying around close to the rug. It appears the rug was not sewn very well and pieces of fabric come loose easily. The rug is in a hallway and gets only moderate use so I am disappointed in the quality. I would not recommend this rug for that reason.

Colors that work!

I had purchased a few rugs, from other stores that I returned. Everything was too blah or just not right. Then I found the Safavieh rugs and suddenly I had options. You may think all that color would be too much but you would be wrong. It looks great, I am happy and the room feels pulled together. Thanks!

Good rug - maintenance needed

We love this exquisite rag rug. It is very soft and looks great. With use, there is a need to push back in the rags as they come undone. I don't mind so much, but if this is not something you want to do, this rug is not for you. Its look and softness/comfort outweigh the maintenance need. Glad a didn't pay full price...and I am not sure how long it will last.

Much darker then picture and a little rough

This rug is MUCH darker with more deep reds, blacks and purples. It's much deeper in color. It's also rough feeling as well. It is a lovely rug and very interesting pattern, but not at all the light colors as shown in the picture. I will keep it but it's not what I thought it would be.

bright, vibrant, well-constructed rug

very happy with this rug. it's nice and heavy... it feels substantial. the colors are true to the pictures... very bright and colorful. it will be a great anchor for a room in our house that has no windows. combined with a bright color on the walls, the room will feel inviting and comfortable, despite the absence of windows. :) . . . . the rug is soft and feels good against your feet. overall, i'm happy with the purchase.

Extremely disappointed

I have bought rugs from Safavieh in the past and loved them and have always found Overstock's reviews helpful. However, this is the most disappointed I have ever been in a product! This is made of pieces of cotton gauze flipped over and glued down with some sharp " stick-like" braces under the loop which hurt when stepped on! Many of the loops have come unglued and the raw ends are sticking up! The color is shockingly bright and I am beyond disappointed, I am outraged! It would cost more to send back than to keep so I'll throw it down somewhere but not in playroom where I wanted it! It's a loser.

a nightmare

This rugs colors looked nice, that's it. The fabric started to (pop up ?) with in a few weeks. It seems thick until you realize the fabric has not been tacked down or sewn in any way. Even where it has not popped up yet you can see where it is loosening and raising up a little at a time.

Not quite what I was expecting...

This is a nice quality rug, but the picture doesn't really accurately reflect the look of it in person. It's made up of tons of different colored pieces of fabric bound together - it's much more of a rag rug than anything plush. Because it's many pieces of cotton material bound together, it doesn't have a soft feel... it's very knobby. It would REALLY help to have a close up of it online. It works for the room I put it in, so I kept it - but had I known what it really looks like in person, I would not have purchased it.

The fabric colored strands are not very strong

I love this rug for its design which is amazing. The only comment is that the material the individual strands are made of seem to catch on my shoes and shred, requiring me to have to trim those pulled strand off. I use in my bath vanity area. It adds a lot of zing to liven up color in that area. It is not a good recommendation for a highly traveled floor area, but that's my opinion because of the delicate nature of the multitude of fabric samples it uses.
