Beautiful rug but there is now way the pile is over 1 inch thick (see photo below- this is measured at the thickest point of the edge of the rug, the inner portion is much thinner). Color is accurate and material is soft. Definitely need a rug pad as this material is closer to a blanket.

Thin but attractive
This has great texture with a vibrant red. A little thinner than I expected so it won't play well with a robot vacuum. I think this would work best on a carpeted floor or used with a non-skid pad on a hard floor.

NOT 1 inch pile - 1/4" pile at the most
It is a nice simple rug. Description states it is more than 1" pile height. It is MAYBE a quarter-inch high. It is quite thin and will definitely need a pad to stay in place. Cute simple rug, but with the pile height being completely incorrect, I don't believe it was worth the cost. Also, the length is more like 8'3". Width is 2'3".
