I bought a Vertical Allure for my living room and it’s awesome! It heats the room really nicely and there are so many customization options for lighting. I especially like that I can turn on the fan without heating so I can use it in the summer!

We own a vertical fireplace. It works fantastic in our basement living room. Everyone ask us where we got it. The product was already installed in our new house.

Buying a product online that non-returnable (open box deal) made me a bit nervous but wow I am happy I bought it. When we need our living room to warm up quickly this fireplace does the trick (we only have heat pumps in a no-gas home in Colorado so it can get cold). We are buying a few more for our master bedroom and downstairs. No it does not look like a real flame, but it does look modern. The only downside is this model does not have a digital readout anyway - so you have no way of knowing what the heat setting is without going through the entire cycle of options. But we just need to turn it on to the same setting (68 degrees) every time so it is not that big of an issue.

Great idea but why not have it 1 1/2 inches narrower so it fits between studs and doesn’t make construction more elaborate

Excellent product. Beautiful flame / color options. Looks great when recessed into wall. I think it is the best electric flame fireplace I have seen. Requires a bit of care and time to install. I took my time to cut the hole in the drywall so the fireplace fit perfectly between the studs. In a recessed installation it requires a horizontal footer and header to be installed behind the drywall, between the studs, which was not a problem.
