Superb New Flooring

The color of this flooring is phenomenal as depending on the lighting it can appear to change color or have different hues to it. Sometimes you can see traces of brown within the grey and the grey will appear lighter and darker. It's waterproof, making it perfect for kitchen, bathroom and laundry room applications.

Interesting mixed reviews but mine's good

I purchased and had installed this exact product in Feb. 2022. Lowe's no longer sells it under that old model number but I was curious to see the new "replacement". I don't know if it was the installers or installing over concrete but mine seemed to be installed quite easily. I've had it two years now. I don't have a problem with it being scratched except by careless workmen dragging in bits of stone. But I put footies on all my furniture so maybe that's the trick. I did have two small scratches which I easily covered with furniture crayons. The only other complaint I guess I would have is one area where the planks don't seem to have been shoved together correctly. Just two planks in one area where I step on it and it makes a click sound.

Not durable at all. Scrathes extremely easily.

Flooring half the price holds up much much better than this Cali Flooring. It will scratch from anything being moved on it. Its been installed for a year and is heavily scratched by everything from a grain of sand, plastic luggage feet, wooden chair legs, etc. Instantly scratches. Not durable at all. Also I called and emailed Cali when installing their flooring to ask about trim options and never did get a reply. Would strongly not recommend this flooring.

Consider purchasing a different product

The sample product at the store is much thicker than the actual floor planks. The coloring of the planks are also faded making the floor look mix matched

Best Flooring Ever!

I have put many floors down in my life. This is the only one that I didn't have to use my tools. Went together like a dream. I did a diagonal pattern. Easy!! Engineered well to fit together without a struggle. Looks great, colors just what I wanted, doesn't dent or scratch!

Cali Flooring will not stand behind their product

This flooring was installed in a brand-new home, per the installation guide, by a 25+ professional flooring installer. After about a month of use ,the locking mechanism started to break causing ledging and splitting.

Cali luxury vinyl flooring

The above product is beautiful! The texture, the color and the grain give it a high end look. Love it. Would not have found this product without the help of your Sales specialist, Tim Burns from the Destin, Fl store. He was so helpful and quickly set this project in motion from the sale to the installation date. A true professional and I am sure…a great asset to the flooring department. Also, the installation crew of Gean and his crew from Service Pros, did an outstanding job in one day. My husband and I are very appreciative. Thank you. Would highly recommend!

Beautifully natural

Beautiful, but…

We have now had this flooring for 3 years. It’s beautiful and I love how it looks, however it is not holding up at all. We have wooden subfloors, and we took great care to level things and follow the installation instructions, it was beautiful. However the pieces have moved, the click locks break, and gaps have formed. When I look at the warranty, it does not cover any of that. Maybe it would work better on a concrete slab? Very disappointed, this was supposed to last 30 years, but at 3 I can guarantee it will not. Also, it is darker then if looks in their pictures.

We love the Cali White Aspen vinyl plank flooring that we installed in our finished basement. It looks more like wood than any of the other vinyl planks we considered and it installed very tight almost like real wood. The color is also beautiful and lightens up the room.

Quality flooring! This flooring has the look and feel of a quality product. The Underlayment that’s attached is of high quality and the overall appearance of the boards is great. We used this flooring in our family room (approx 350 sqft) and it went together wonderfully. The boards had a tight very smooth click and no real discernible lines where the joints are. So far we are very pleased with this flooring, I highly recommend it.

It is a nice product, very sturdy and extremely easy to install. Color of sample was true to actual floor color. Would be nice to have been able to purchase individual pieces and not have to purchase all full boxes as the last box we only needed two pieces out of. Would totally recommend this this brand.

Install

Install can be done by oneself- once you start, you pick up what to look for. Remember to cut right end of plank you need, not random cutting. Also the use of razor can be done, not suggested for length cuts. Ultimately, a dremal tool should be suggested; for cope cuts on corners, bottom end doors/ room transitions, and closets. Only thing is stock for trim for Cali products is not in stock & should consider before purchase- being order availability & time of received. Much easier when all materials are ready, to complete each working point. I’m pleased with appearance & materials- It would be an extra bonus, to have suggested interior design products such as; choice paint color ideas, ceiling/wall panel choices, & concept ideas to purchase as kits.

LOVE, Love, Love

Very beautiful floor and as I do a remodel of my whole house, everyone working on it is so impressed with the quality of the flooring. I started the remodel in Feb. and at one point recently in the remodel, months after the floor was installed, we needed to pull it up to put in a new kitchen. Very pleased with how easy that was to do and only needing to replace 2 or 3 pieces. Everything looks fantastic!!
