[Rewarded Review] A great tree for front porch display

After moving into our new house, my wife and I wanted a small prelit tree to display outside our front entry. This one fits the bill perfectly, especially for the price. The only thing (and it may have been unique to our tree) was that it took a little effort on our part to get the lights splayed somewhat uniformly across the tree without any large dark spots along it at night. Not a big deal though, as we’re happy with the final result.

Good Tree for an Apartment

I wanted a small tree for my apartment picture window which has a seat under it that I thought would be perfect for a tree. This one fits pretty well and was only just a touch wider than I had originally measured, which was easily remedied. It does have a lot of branches for a small tree, which I was glad to see since I had several ornaments to hang on it. However, you will want to keep a hand vac near you when fluffing the tree the first time out of the box or when stringing ornaments: the "needles" tend to fall off easily. The only other con would be that this tree does not have enough lights on it. I found noticeable dark gaps in various places once I plugged it in, though there aren't so many to warrant putting a separate string of lights on.

Worst purchase I've ever made

I purchased this tree during the tree sale event in early November. I attempted to put it up the weekend before Thanksgiving and found that no matter what I'd done the bottom half of the tree would not keep it's branches up. I fought with it for a couple of hours to try to improve it, but nothing worked. I decided to return it, but Michaels would not take the defective tree back. Instead they said I was required to call the manufacturer Polygroup. That was a waste of time- While the first call seemed to be effective, they did not give me all the information required to replace that defective piece (including the requirement for a copy of the receipt and pictures of the defect to be emailed)- they never took my email address and I had no follow up from them. When I had called about a month later (2 months after the purchase- I'd thrown away the receipt at this point), they promised to honor the warranty because they didn't give me all of the information, but once I'd sent in the pictures they refused to do anything without the receipt. I ended up tossing the tree because it was worthless to me at this point and not worth the fight. I'm disappointed that instead of Michaels handling defects, it falls on the customer. Worst service I've ever had.

I purchased this for my son that did not have time to pick up a tree since he has been working a lot for the holidays. It arrived quickly and now he and his wife do not have to worry about picking up a tree. He said the lights that came with it was a bonus to how happy he was.

Missing lights

An entire section of the tree is missing lights or they aren't working (can't tell), and now I can't return it. I barely got one season out of this tree. I think the company should contact me regarding a replacement. Thank you

The branches don’t spread out very evenly and the lights are not wrapped well. Blank spots and clusters but we made it work with strategic ornament placement. It does the job, not for those perfectionist types.

The tree looked fine other that the trunk is too long on the bottom. The branches should have come down a little further because you really only get 3 feet of tree and not 4 foot.

Needed a shorter tree in a hurry for family Christmas party to place on baby grand piano. Tree was perfect size and after shaping looks great. Lights are evenly placed. Thanks Overstock!

Tree has beautiful shape, but calling it 4 foot is a stretch. When I add the tree stand and put an Angel on top, it measures 3 foot 10 inches. I am happy with it though.
