Loves the swirls

I needed an area rug to fill a space on the floor of my sun porch and it needed to compliment the blue swirl area rug already in the room. I could not believe my luck to find this square Safavieh rug. It is the perfect dimensions for the space and it looks fabulous!

The color

The color was not at all as illustrated in the ad. It's bright orange in the ad but dark rust in reality. I returned the rug. It was good quality though. I liked everything about it except the color.

Striking!

We bought this rug 5 years ago when we renovated our kitchen. The edges began to look rough, normal in a high traffic area with a large dog! We were looking for another one and found that this one is still available! Love it so much, decided to get the same one again. It's perfect! I take it outside twice a year and wash it. High quality, a non-slip pad underneath is helpful with a large dog!

It is this specific size I wouldn't recommend. We previously bought the 4' x 6' exact rug and liked it very much despite some visible glue. The ends of that rug were flat and folded under evenly. We had to remove the rug to another location and liked the design well enough to purchase it in a smaller size. The new one still looks very nice, but I'm disappointed with the ends of the rug. The fold-under wasn't done evenly so you see white stitching where it should be all black. Also the fold-under area is very thick and become somewhat of a tripping hazard. Again there is visible glue, but not much. We'll keep the rug down and hope the ends will flatten a bit. Won't be able to do anything about the uneven folding, though.
