Love how light this product is! It is well designed too, I didn’t expect the wrist rest built in! Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a stable surface for gaming while you chill on the couch.

I like to work on the computer in my semi- recliner, so I had been looking for a solution when I read a Wirecutter review of laptop desks. This model was a runner-up, but it was perfect for my needs. I'm a big guy and my laptop is a big high-end Dell that runs hot. This lap board is firm (and heavy) with a symmetrical mousepads covered in a fine fabric and there is a wrist bar that might be useful for some laptops. In addition there are grooves at the far end of the board to support your phone or whatever. The board is made of bamboo, so a sustainable natural product. Finally, at 22 inches, the board fits perfectly between the arms of my chair. I've been using the lap board a lot when I am working at home and have been very pleased with it.

Fits my needs perfectly. Yes, a little heavy but that doesn't bother me. I have a larger laptop and when I WFH I usually have 2 computers going at once. This solved all of my issues.

My main complaint it's that it's not wide enough for a full length keyboard. The built in mouse pads don't work great for gaming, but easy fix of putting a gaming mouse pad with better texture on top. Very solid, can stand up to long gaming sessions.

It works good, but it is too heavy. Had to return it. It was easier to keep the keyboard on the lap instead.

Sadly, while this lap desk looked wonderful upon arrival and promised to be just what I needed, within the first hour of using it, it started cracking lengthwise. It simply could not stand up to the heat of a small tablet computer. Puzzling, since that is what it was purportedly created for. Hour after hour it cracked more as a result of warping. I should have sent it back immediately, but I liked the desk and thought it couldn't get much worse. I was wrong. Now, a year later, it is basically unusable. When placed on a hard, flat surface, the centre of the desk (running lengthwise) rests over an inch above the table. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I wish I had been given the heads up before purchasing. I expected more for the cost of the product and never would have purchased it if I had realized it would not stand up to reasonable use.

Beautiful, useful, but heavy

I really like this lap desk; it is sturdy and well-made, and I can use it in multiple situations and positions. My only complaint is that it is a bit heavy - not so much on the lap, but lifting it one-handed ( I just had surgery, and am not supposed to lift much at all, so after I'm healed this should not be a problem.)

I had been looking for a lap desk that would work with my 17-inch laptop and checked out many. I decided to give this one a try and am so glad I did - I could not be happier. The look is nice, it feels good on my lap, I no longer feel the heat the laptop generates due to the breathing holes and my large laptop fits great on it with room to spare. Made of bamboo so very durable and sturdy. Very happy with the purchase of this lap desk.

does its job. holds the laptop and provides airflow under it. honestly don't use the mousepad functionality much as I just use my laptop on the couch, but it does function as a mousepad when needed.

Exactly what I needed. Without the pad, my lap does not get hot and the cooling holes allow the laptop to stay cool.

I already returned this, but still wanted to inform people of my opinion on it....I wanted to get this for reason everyone else here probably wanted it....fits a 17 inch laptop wifh room for mouse use.....unfortunately with laptop on it not only did it make the board HEAVY (because of the material it's made from) BUT it also made it uncomfortable on the knees and legs because it has no padding on bottom
