Beautiful. But beware!

First of all I want to say how beautiful this rug is. The pattern is great! Hence why I bought it. And I will say it is very soft under foot.

We've had this for quite some time and the edges refuse to uncurl despite heavy objects, ice cubes, and every other trick online. Love the pattern and the durability, but the turned up edges make it a bit of a trip hazard.

This rug looks beautiful! I don’t love how loose the weave is though. It fills up the vacuum canister several times every time I have vacuumed it. Hopefully, the shedding will lessen soon! It also has a pretty strong earthy/dirt scent. I was hoping the smell would subside faster…it’s been 2 weeks and it’s still fairly strong.

This rug is really great for a beachy or country styled room. I like it in a living room with moose and deer pillows and plaid blankets. Mixed feels.

The colors are nice but the weave is very loose so the vacuum and dog paws are constantly being caught in it. The dyeing is irregular too--lighter at the edges. Definitely requires a pad underneath or else it moves very easily when you walk

This rug fit perfectly in our family room. The color blends well; however, we have had issues with the end tassles of the rug coming off and some portions of the surface weaves coming up. We've decided to keep the rug rather than return it; however, we would not purchase this style rug again because the surfaces are not as durable as expected.

I love the print. But the actual rug is so much bulkier and rugged than what it looks like in the picture. It didn’t work in my house but my son took it to his house and he loves it. Go figure.

Horrible rug. It shed everywhere and had pieces of jute coming off of it before I even laid it down. It looked messy. It was also dreadful to walk on.

The quality was nice enough, but I made the mistake of not considering just how thick these could be; definitely too thick for any normal interior or exterior door to clear, which made these automatically useless as interior runners as my hallways all have doors. 1 star off for the thickness which was unexpected for something sold for an interior. Would perhaps be lovely for an outdoor living space.

The rugs are gorgeous but they shed A LOT, get on your socks and then stick to your clothes. I sit on my feet a lot and have to constantly pick tiny strands out of my yoga pants and couch and bed, etc. Other reviews mentioned shedding and thought "what's the big deal?" but I regret buying these.

I like this runner a lot! It’s perfect for my tiny kitchen. It’s rustic but good quality. Feels good on your feet! It’s shedding anf it vacuums well.

Warm and Welcoming

Big area rug for when you're ballin on a budget. Super cute. Rustic/Farmhouse/Boho vibe. Surprisingly soft to be jute. I did my homework and read tons of reviews. I opened it outside and saved the packaging just to be sure and shook it out so that any loose particles didn't get inside. We took it inside and it looks great! As far as durability, only time will tell.... But for the price, you could easily buy a new one and replace it and still be on top.

Love this rug! It’s as lovely in person as in the photos. The natural smell of the jute plant was not overpowering or even unpleasant and it vanished after I aired it out for a few hours. Very sturdy rug with great texture that’s not super heavy and actually easy to life. Doesn’t shift or slip on my smooth floors. Totally brightened up my kitchen space. Tassels are a nice touch that soften the look.

I LOVE Safavieh products. I own much of it. However, this is one rug I can not recommend to anyone. It snaps very easily. More importantly, it sheds like crazy. For two weeks I found huge fibers of the rug all around my living and kitchen area. I finally pulled it up and put it aside and ordered a different rug. This one was a huge disappointment.

We like this rug but probably wouldn’t have gone with it against our dark hardwood if we had known it would shed as much as it has.

Pretty!!

I absolutely love this rug! It's on the softer side for Jute which is nice and I think it looks very rich and high end! Very well-made! The one thing I would like to note is the photos from reviews make it look like the ivory is more of a brighter white ivory when in actuality it's much more of a toned down cream... The photos blow out the white a little more, because I was surprised when I unrolled it -when I took a photo I saw what was happening! Very nice rug however!

BEAUTIFUL Neutral Heavy Duty Rug!

I LOVED this rug! The color was amazing and the pattern was eye catching but subtle. I did have to return it, because I didn't like it in my space as much as I thought. However, I wish it would have looked better, because it is so pretty and heavy duty! I love how THICK it is. I wouldn't suggest having it by a door though, unless there is a lot of space between the floor and the bottom of the door.

Really nice jute rug

I really like this rug. It looks exactly as it does in the picture on line. What I found surprising was how soft it is to walk on. I have never owned a jute rug, only seagrass, which is not soft at all. I am so pleased with this rug, I am thinking about purchasing one for an upstairs den area. It has not been shedding, nor has it dropped any dirty dust. I expect it will shed some, because it is natural fiber, but it has been down for 3 days and I haven't really noticed any, so I don't think it will be an issue like some jute rugs.

This rug is beautiful and looked fantastic when I first unrolled it and put it down. But after just 5 days, the rug is getting "fuzzy" all over, where we walk on it. It's like its fibers are pilling. I'm not talking about the usual "shedding" that happens at the fringes. This in the ivory, woven body of the rug, particularly at the edges. The natural color jute in the rug seems to be fine and so I'm wondering whether the process they use to lighten the jute to the ivory color, somehow compromises the fiber??? We have another woven jute rug that we've had down for nearly 10 yrs. and this did not happen to it. For the price, I can't complain, even if we only get a year out of it, but realistically, it should last much longer than that. Beautiful rug, just a bit disappointed in the quality.

Beautiful Gorgeous carpet that feels as though it will last forever! My teenaged daughter loves nothing and she LOVED this. Came out BETTER than I expect and fit my hallway so perfectly I almost shed a tear...I’ve been looking 10 years (yes, years) for the perfect rug to go in that space. Delivery came two weeks before expected delivery which is ALWAYS awesome. Thanks Wayfair, you’ve done it again! ❤️❤️❤️
