The area rug was even better than the picture/description. looks fantastic in my livingroom
This is a beautiful rug. But the edges are a little raised and I am afraid someone might trip. But I didn't want to return it because it just looks so warm and inviting. As far as some of the stuff I read about it 'shedding' - it doesn't. After we opened it we shook it outside, and nothing has come off it since.
The rug is a trip hazard. the edges are not linear. It was quite stinky when it arrived. It took a while to get rid of the smell.
Horrible Rug!! Sheds stray/sisal constantly and has had a sandy dirt coming out of the material of the rug since the first day I laid the rug. My household is not busy at all and the edges are fraying after just 3 months of use. Read the description and reviews before I purchased it, rug is not the quality as described. So disappointed, waste of money.
I wanted a sisal rug to fit in the small hallway in front of our main entrance and leading to our laundry room, and this 8’ runner fits perfectly. It looks good with our floors and coordinates nicely with our antique Persian runner. The weave is fairly chunky . It’s a bit thick, so that might be considered a tripping hazard. It doesn’t smell at all and hardly sheds. It still a bit stiff, but it is starting to soften. I wouldn’t use this type of rug in a family room as the texture is not soft on bare feet.
Will forever use natural fiber rugs. It does shed, but traps dirt so well, stays looking clean, and is so much classier than a normal rug. It does stretch little and does not come perfectly square (so it may not match up with a square corner if that's where you intend to put it). Be sure to read care instructions for natural fiber (cannot wash it).
This carpet was purchased for my home office but was really not suitable for that location. It’s uncomfortable under the foot quite slippery on top of wood flooring. It was extremely durable just not the right fit for me.
