Nice size and color. Softer than a jute rug. Defines a space with a dark floor. How it will hold up to stains and cats is yet to be seen. I wish it was more tightly woven. You can put your fingers thru it in areas.

I think I liked these runners a lot more when I paid $80 each for them. The price increase over the past 2 years or so is unbelievable. These rugs are virtually not able to be cleaned when you spill on them. I wouldn't continue buying them except I have 2 others in my house so to keep the uniformity I continue replacing with these. Eventually I'll just have to replace them all. I love the sisal look which is why I keep coming back to them.

Nice to find a 14 ft runner rug and planned to use it in our hallway running along all the bedrooms. Upon opening, the odor was fairly strong; not at all pleasant. I still thought it would be okay, so put it in place. My husband quickly vetoed it as there are sticks/jute ends poking up all over the place! Very uncomfortable yo even the sock foot. Not caring to packaging it all back for a return, it how is housed in the unfinished part of the basement. Useful I guess, but sure regret this purchase which is why online shopping is such a gamble for heavy items.

Absolute Junk!

I was so excited about this rug when I ordered it. I actually ordered 2 in different sizes. I received them in late November. I thought that they looked so pretty in my rooms. I also thought that they would be durable. Not the case. I have only had these rugs in low traffic rooms also using top layering rugs for almost 7 weeks and the fibers are fraying, matting and showing significant wear. Not only are these rugs junk, the companies customer service is poor. Don't buy anything from Rugs Hut. I reached out to them 3 times inquiring if this wear was considered normal after only a few weeks. They claimed to not have received my initial email. I do not believe it! Not only did they disregard my concern, they outright said that I am no longer in their return window. I have never had so many issues with getting a problem resolved as I have with this company. I am so upset and frustrated with this buying experience that I will most likely never purchase anything again from Houzz again. Houzz needs to do a better job protecting their customers and set strict guidelines with their sellers on customer service and return policies, as it directly affects Houzz. If you don't want to be out hundreds of dollars or more, stay away from Rugs Hut!

This rug is made from natural sea grass fibers and is well made. It looks nice and I appreciate that it is all natural and I actually don’t mind the scent when you unpack it. However, it is very hard. Surprisingly so. This is not a rug you will enjoy with bare feet. I hope the fibers soften up a bit with time.

Not as pictured. . This is an inexpensive mat that was a cost effective solution we were looking for in size and colour only. Our review is not good as at the online point of purchase the zoomed in video inspection of the natural fibre and weave in the sales pictures was shown to be a much finer fiber and a tighter smoother weave. . The actual mat/rug has a much courser, heavier and significantly rougher weave and finish and is so rough the light weight table legs do not sit level. Product photos and description not as advertised. (pictured) . Natural fibre product, surging and backing all appear to be the basic cost effective materials as intended. We ordered 3 rugs and the sale including shipping was exactly as notified upon purchase.
