Buyer Beware! Poor quality. I should have known better. now I’m stuck with a rug that i cannot return And I’m out $242.00 plus delivery fees.

It looks great at our lake house. It’s yet to be seen how it holds up the summer foot traffic but I love the look so far.

I absolutely love this rug. My only issue with it was that it's very expensive. I tried for months to find a similar rug that was cheaper but was unable to. I would advise using a pad underneath.

Beautiful but poorly made rug

We initially loved this rug. The material is nice underfoot, softer than most jute fiber rugs, and a lovely pattern. It fit in our space perfectly. However, after just a month and a half in a low-traffic room it has not held up. The loops where the white flowers meet the rest of the rug have come undone and there are holes throughout the rug. I reached out to Rugs Direct about this and received a response that it was unfortunately outside of the 30 day return window (45 days to be exact) and there was nothing to be done, but they could provide a 15% off coupon for my next purchase. Unfortunately we will definitely not be repeat customers for a company that sells sub-par products and doesn’t stand behind their products. A rug that costs nearly $900 should not fall apart after a little more than a month of use. While beautiful, it is a terribly made rug (or perhaps we received a defective one that initially looked fine). We are disappointed with our purchase, as well as how the company has handled these issues.

This rug was insanely cute, but unfortunately after getting out of the packaging the corner of the rug was already unraveling. Sad to return this item.

Gorgeous textured rug! Dirt slips through the cracks since its jute so you will need to vacuum under the rug regularly but I love the texture it adds to the space.

Cute jute rug! Love the more traditional pattern. Brings a natural warmth and lightness to the space. Definitely needs a rug pad.

LOVE my new rug! I looked for months and was super picky about it being a natural (not synthetic with chemicals and plastics) and the size color and feel under foot is comfortable. You do need a rug pad so it doesn’t slip but that’s ok.

It’s a beautiful rug, and the pattern and texture guarantee that this is not “everyone else’s “ rug. It’s a soft rug to walk on (especially with the rug pad I bought from Birch Lane). I was surprised that the care instructions say it must not be vacuumed with a beater bar. I have had to buy a new vacuum with a “suction only” setting. It might have been nice if that recommendation was included in the rug’s description. The color was a little off from the photographs. The background is more of a gold-ish color than a cream or tan. I’m dealing with that by making new throw pillows for this room, that have gold tones rather than linen or tans. I love the rug and it’s unique pattern and style so well that I don’t mind making these adjustments.

Love this rug so much!!! Bought 12’ runners for my stairs and it looks way more expensive than what it cost! Very happy and hope it lasts for a long time!
