The table is beautiful. The shipping took awhile but that is to be expected these days. It was an item that I really had to love and budget for because it was rather pricey, but who doesn't want an original John Boos product in their kitchen?

Beautiful butcher block table, right size for smaller kitchen area. Very well made. It was packed with care and easy to put together (3boxes) and arrived as expected. Purchased 36 inch black , one shelf and wheels. The knives were an added bonus!

Love the table but it was missing the hardware to put the shelves on so I have not been able to fully assemble it.

Love this island. I can't even say enough about it. It's so heavy though. Holy cow!! Not just heavy, but HEAVY!!!!! SERIOUS HEAVY!!!! ONE SOLID PIECE OF FURNITURE.

This is a beautiful, well-made piece of furniture and it was really well packaged and handled for delivery. It is incredibly heavy though, and it would have helped to know it's weight ahead of time. I only found dimensions in the specs on the website and not it's actual weight.

If you are thinking of buying this and are a little nervous don't hesitate. It arrived and each peice was expertly packed, there would be no way of damage. We were able to put together in less than 30 mins. One thing to consider is the weight of the item, it is extremely heavy and multiple people are needed to carry in as well as assist in putting together. Worth every penny and will be apart of my family for generations to come. I purchased the useful grey, I really think would go with any decor.

I ordered the John Boos harvest table in the basil finish, and it finally arrived last week (took about 7 weeks from the day I placed my order). It was delivered by freight and the two men brought all the pieces into my kitchen, unpacked the boxes, and took all the packing material away. The white glove service was absolutely necessary because this table is HEAVY. My husband just had to assemble the posts and shelves. He couldn't lift it upright by himself when he finished and I wasn't much help, so we called a couple of our neighbors to help. It fits perfectly in our breakfast nook and we often catch ourselves just admiring it. The three baskets currently house cookbooks and the top shelf holds special cookware. A small sample of Boos Cream was included in the package but I bought full-sized tubes as the beautiful butcher block needs to be waxed regularly. You can also cut and prep food directly on the tabletop, though I don't intend on doing that. This is a solidly built piece of furniture that is now the pride and joy of my kitchen.

Our kitchen is small and this table just fits. We added Captains Chairs at each end. We enjoy our meals there. The baskets below and the shelf under saves us so much space. So many uses, so adaptable to our available space. We love it
