Easy on the Eyes, Not the Assembly. I love the look of the lamp, and the ambiance. It is perfect for the space in which I purchase it. The assembly was just not as simple as it should have been, and Im still wondering whats happening with the base of it. It took, what felt like hours, to get the pole assembled due to the plug. It just didnt seem to want to fit correctly. One of the rings for the lamp shades had a small piece broken off, but it was still usable and it wasnt cracked, so that was a good thing. After sweating my way through the pole assembly, that wasnt a huge deal. The washer and bolt is tight at the bottom, yet the base still rotates, and the wood had become scratched. Its an expensive lamp for this not to be truly tight with no wigglemovement. I have the look that I want, and its in the place where its going to stay. Im not in love with it due to the aforementioned things.

Not real mica - it’s a plastic shade. The little hook that holds the loop on the shade is a cast metal that is weak. It wasn’t correctly positioned to hold the shade. When I tried to rotate it, it snapped off. We like the look but it was overpriced

Everything’s great until you get to the shades. Cheap garbage and they definitely look like it, especially inside. Don’t sit under this thing or too close - looks MUCH better from far away. Considering returning due to what you get for the price. Disappointing at best.

Bought the bulbs that were suggested and the vintage old-timey pub feel permeates the room. Definitely mood lighting but can be changed out for reading and brightness with the bulbs. One thing: dig deeply for the electrical connection in the pole and attach it from there -- no directions in regard to this. It is quite large and a couch with legs would be another suggestion. Another fabulous buy from Wayfair.

Replaced same light

I had this same light for 17 years. One of the lights stopped working. I was able to get the same light. It just fits in my great room. Lucky me!!!

Love this lamp. The shades give off a warm glow that accents our decor perfectly. And the infinite dimmer switch helps dial in the right light intensity.
