We have purchased these fold down benches before. They are durable, well-made, wonderful for multi generational, showers, and Customer Service and Delivery, etc. was amazing.

We just installed and it looks great. The fold down feature should be very convenient as well.

After many hours of searching & reading reviews the Teakworks4U "17" Wide Teak Wall Mount Fold Down Teak Shower Seat" was the only logical choice. The full "L" length hinge offers the most strength vs smaller 2" hinges. As a retired design engineer I feel I have the eye for a better product & found it with Teakworks4U.

After reading other reviews I opted for this fold-down bench for a bathroom I’m remodeling. It bench is exactly as described. Seems to be very well built. I am a big guy and wanted something substantial - this fits my need to a T.

Not Yet Installed

This product will be installed in a shower when we do a remodel of our bathroom. The remodel has not begun yet therefore I can only say that it arrived in less time than originally stated and is in very good condition.

I needed to change my order from a 24 inch bench to an 18 inch bench several days after my order was placed. Called them and they said no problem as my order had not yet been produced. Promptly adjusted my bill and the bench came a week later, Not yet installed but looks great. A little pricey but I think it will be well worth it. Thanks Teakworks4u!!

Using as a seat in Foyer Hall to sit when putting shoes or boots on. Great looks and so functional! Would have given 5 stars across the board but have slight metal on metal rub upon closing.

Absolutely beautiful it enhances the overall look of my old shower area. It works perfectly! The pictures don’t do it justice!

The seat is just what we wanted. However, installing it was a bit of a hassle. We have a log house, so maybe this was part of our problem. To install the top screws, an extension is needed. Ours were too wide, so we ordered one of the correct size. This worked well on the top screw on one side, but we were not able to make it work completely on the other side. The drill tip simply would not reach straight into the screw head, it remained at an angle. We finally decided that enough of the screws were fully installed that one that was mostly installed would have to be fine. We are not large people so we feel sure the seat will work just fine and we use it several times daily.

We ordered 2 benches so they can be side to side to lay down. Teak is beautiful and varied and Trent is sending me pictures to find a similarly stained one due to it's characteristic variations.

I am very pleased with the quality of the shower seat. It looks beautiful against our new white 4x24 subway tiles. It folds nicely and there is absolutely no wobble when you sit on it. Comfortable and stylish!
