Poor quality control. bought this on sale and it’s fairly inexpensive but not all the holes on the platform line up and Holes for drawer not large enough for hardware. I was still able to get the bed together and it’s sturdy however the drawer is flimsy due to the hardware not being able to be inserted properly.
I was really looking forward to receiving this bed, but I’m disappointed to say it arrived damaged. The product inside the box had a corner that was crushed, making the bed unusable. I’m not sure when the damage occurred, but it’s clear that the item was not properly handled during shipping or at the factory.
Never even opened box! All four corners of the box were shredded upon delivery. It was soooo heavy the person delivering could not pick it up. I called to return statued the item as the inside wood corners had to have been damaged. I suggested that it should have been put in 2 or more boxes. I was told that it was my problem and that I had to pay for shipping for FedEx to pick it back up... What a disappointment in WAYFAIR! Not sure I can give them any more business.... BEWARE!!!!
good quality bed. nice and sturdy. was very heavy in the box but assembly was nice and easy!
Cheap material, but looks good. One piece of the platform was cracked, but we reported it and received a replacement a few days later.
Difficult to put together . Some holes font match up, so now we have broken pieces. It's bowing in the front and slats board isn't matching up.. update the bed still sucks, the mattress moves all over. Use caution when buying
Very disappointed. I normally love putting stuff together, but this is the worst thing I’ve ever built. The instructions were terrible, and several of the pre-drilled holes were in the wrong place. If you do get this (don’t), but if you do, build it where it’s going to be placed, because you can’t move it after. If you try to, the boards will rip up and strip the screws, thereby basically destroying it. Plan on resenting this every time you see it if you end up giving it a try.
Worst assembly instructions I've seen in ages. That was on top of FedEx just dropping it off with no notice. I had to unpack it in an apartment lobby and make 8 trips up 3 flights of stairs. I'm hoping there's a YouTube assembly video. Otherwise, it's finding someone on Thumbtack
Looks nice enough and works fine, but it's incredibly poor quality. Also super hard to put together because most of the holes were in the wrong place or not drilled all the way through. The nails at the end are literally covered with wood grain pattern stickers. Do not recommend. Such a shame because the design itself is lovely!
This is one of the worst bed frames I have ever purchased. It is an easy design bed, but really hard to put it together because majority of the holes were in the wrong place. My husband and I literally had to manually drill new holes to put the bed together. But the boards are full of holes. Looks horrible.
I would buy this product again but only at it's true price.
The product itself I am happy with, unfortunately the price I paid and the shipping coast make it not worth what I paid for but unfortunately that is what you can expect when purchasing from Fingerhut and their absorbent pricing.
Packaging was not sufficient to protect corners; all pieces came squished together with just one layer of plastic wrap. Lots of visible damage. Assembly instructions were somewhat confusing as well.
My complaints are that this item was damaged in several areas when I received it but not in obvious places so I'll keep it. Pieces don't exactly fit together properly and the mattress slides around on it quite a bit but that's to be expected with this style. Virtually silent during activity time if you know what I mean.
Great item! I am really happy with this purchase. I looked for hours and this one the most affordable and efficient one for what I was needing it for. Perfect for small living places. Sincerely love it.
Support calculations don't include mattress
Even for the price point, this particle board bed did not meet expectations. The 500lb weight limit clearly does not factor in the weight of a mattress. Luckily, this is for my 15 yo who weighs 120 soaking wet, or this would collapse. The average queen mattress weighs 120-160, so if you intend to sleep two people in this bed, do the math and don't test its strength. 500lbs seems like a stretch.
You get what you pay for .
Overall good value but don't expect quality material. One of the back panels was drilled the wrong way so the particle board's finish ended up facing the inside. Other than that it is cheap in price and hopefully it'll last a good amount of time. Be careful not to spill anything on it though cause it'll soak up water really fast and probably wont end up well. Assembly is easy. Again you get what you pay for.
This base looks so nice and sleek. I really didn’t have any difficulty building this since the instructions were very clear and everything came numbered and labelled and to make sure that the sides were perfectly even on both ends you get these two few pieces of wood that are the exact length that you’re supposed to have the sides be. It’s a modern piece without being boring.
Well, it looks great. I’ll give it that. In terms of quality, it’s hot garbage. I’m glad I got it at the price I did cause I’d feel foolish at the price it is now. DO NOT move this bed with the mattress on it. It’s particle board at its best. Move it as little as possible. I see this breaking for sure.
This is an awful bedframe don't be fooled by the pictures. The support below it is 3 little pieces of wood that are good for nothing. My package came and was missing crucial screws to hold the frame up. Wayfair transfered me to south shore the manufacturer and they rudly hung up the phone on me as I was explains the struggles of putting it together with defeceted connecters.
I love this low platform bed. It's definitely a two person job for assembly. It was a bit tricky setting up the top part because we weren't sure if it was too far. Turned out great anyway. One big problem is that the screws needed to set up the drawer was missing so we had to contact the manufacturer. They sent it over but it does take time. Hopefully it'll come soon!!
