Arrived late, hard to assemble and one peoce was too big for the cage. Took 2 hours to make. Not happy

Took a lonth for hamster to chew through

Hamster chewed a hole in the bottom to escape within a few weeks.

Potential to be a great cage, but not worth it

Where the shelves attach was poorly connected so all the shelves I screwed in half fell off in shipping, so I had to get real creative so our hamster could actually climb. The shelves were spaced just enough she would have struggled if this didn't happen. Took about 4 hours total to build due to the poor base assembly. The hinges were not put on straight and cause it to not fit very well once complete. Arrived fast though.

Good size and customizable

I needed an enclosure that didn’t take up too much floor space and this is perfect for our small space. Our Syrian hamster is quite happy in his “condo” (as we lovingly call it). I primed and painted it white to fit in with our decor and hopefully to make it easier to clean. I didn’t install the bottom “shelf” so our hamster would have more room to burrow. We put about 6 inches of bedding in the bottom and he loves that. The wheel, sand bath, water dish, food dish, toys, and hideouts fit perfectly above. Shelf below the enclosure can hold food, treats and supplies. Perfect.

Delivery was quick, assembly was well instructed and straightforward, and I love the way the house looks.

Unfortunately the wood split very easily and so we lost some of the ledges for the hamster to jump on. The description also said that this could be used as 2 separate cages but there seems no simple way to do this as the middle piece has a bridge attached. The instructions were poor and the back was back to front to how the instructions showed it.

We bought 2 young mice, so we needed a spacious new home for them. We got the house fast, even before the expected delivery time.

Well designed and provides spacious, interesting home for pet hamster, compared to cramped and cruel alternatives.

Small animal cage

Not suitable for all small animals, Guinea pigs being one , it'll do for hamsters and anything smaller , wasn't happy at all

Not fit for hamster

Bought for my sons hamster but chewed through door and escaped. Wood is not thick enough any rodent will easily escape.

Not fit for purpose

I purchased this (my daughters choice) as it looked roomy and a nice piece of furniture. It arrived damaged, the company gave a small amount to repair. One day over six months later and following around 10 repairs to the wooden structure in various places, the hamster has finally chewed a hole right through the door and frame. Not well designed, nothing to prevent sawdust falling out of doors. Chewable with nothing to stop the hamster chewing straight through. Prepare to double to cost of this item with all the wood needed to make repairs to keep your hamster secure.

Good but be careful

This is good product for the price but it's not great for hamsters. Hamsters need to burrow, and I bought this thinking I would be able to change the doors to the top halfs so I could fill the base with bedding but unfortunately not. I have changed it so the bottom is full with bedding, there is tape along the edge and we only access our hamster though the top. To clean, we remove the hamster and toys, to tilt it over a bin bag then release the bottom latch to dump the bedding She also chewed quite a bit in a short time but she hasn't chewed though, so I guess it depends on the personality, but I feel this may be better for mice than hamsters?

We bought this wooden cage for our 2 rats. It wasn't easy to set up but once done, it looks very nice. Can be painted if needed.

Not sure how long it will last

A great cage for my syrian. However, i covered the 2 floors in fablon.... as i can imagine how quickly it could get smelly from wee. I also painted it white so it fits well in my lounge. It was a nightmare to put together as the instructions are horrendous.... However i found it easy to watch the video on amazon. Its only been a few days .... so lets see how long it lasts. Honey isnt really a chewer.....so hopefully she won't escape. Also, i found the top platform dangerous. so i removed it. I also added in 2 extra platforms.

Dwarf hamsters love it!

We have two fighting dwarf hamsters, and I closed the little ladder in between the sections and they now have a big space each. The cage is easy to assemble and the wood is very nice. I would recommend this cage.

Great upgrade from the pets at home one. Soo much more room for my Gerbils, they love it! Was a pain to put together and part of the storage shelf snapped but apart from that it’s great.

Das Paket kam intakt und pünktlich an, aber zum Zeitpunkt der Montage dauerte es 5 Stunden (ich war allein und ohne Bohrer). Ich habe mir die Hände gebrochen und es war keine sehr intuitive Anleitung. Ansonsten ist das Produkt wie beschrieben. Ich empfehle es für Rennmäuse oder Hamster, obwohl ich mir in der Breite ein paar Zentimeter mehr gewünscht hätte.
