Good product. Complex assembly.

Assembly was somewhat complicated by a lack of labeling for the hardware. The illustrations and instructions were also somewhat vague, requiring taking things apart after putting them together. Once I figured it all out and put it together properly, it is a solid, easy-to-operate futon frame. It is heavy when put together, so if it is going to be placed upstairs, assembling it there would make more sense. The box is heavy and long, so it's a two-person job carrying it.

Workhorse of a frame

I've been using this nightly for three years. It has held up well. It's quite low, has flex if you stand on it, and was difficult to assemble and reassemble after a move. But, it's durable, a great size, and was a breeze to move.

All parts included! My sister assembled it in a couple of hours. Very good quality. Wood is smooth and no off gassing !! I think this futon frame was an excellent choice. It is a great value and I recommend it enthusiastically.

Best futon frame Ive ever had

This isnt even comparable to a similar priced metal futon frame. Its American made and actually satisfying to put together. Everything is tight, every hole perfectly positioned and sized. It has none of those cheap box-store connectors.. and it is solid real wood! You could take this apart and move it hundreds of times without worrying about broken pieces and sloppy joints. Since its solid wood you can leave it natural or stain it to match other woods in the room. By far my favorite thing (compared to the metal frames ive had) is the sturdy and squeekless feel in every position. The only downside to this frame is the design does not easily accommodate arm rests. I wish I would have bought this frame before i wasted money on 3 others that I tried before this.
