The quality of materials was just what I was expecting. No cheap plastic or any pieces that will become brittle and break off. Really hoping to get some birds into the backyard.

Excellent wren birdhouse, quality construction

Nature’s Way “Wren” Cedar Birdhouse, sold by “Supply the Home” at $27.88 (4–2024) is exactly as pictured and has features as described. It’s very well constructed, sturdy, uses quality materials and is designed to invite only small birds to nest (wrens, chickadees, etc.) NOT larger birds such as, sparrows, etc., as it’s opening hole is correct size for small birds. Larger birds will investigate, but will move on since opening is too small (the purpose of a small opening is to attract very small birds). One reviewer stated they increased the opening size as other birds trying to get in will hurt themselves. Larger birds will move on before they damage themselves. However, unless a metal guard is affixed around the small opening, as happened to my previous wren houses, larger birds will peck away until they have enlarged the opening so that they can accommodate the house for themselves. Other vendors price this same birdhouse for more than “ Supple the Home @ $27.88…be aware. Shipping package could have been done better as the house was lucky to get here undamaged, but it did. Excellent purchase, quality wren birdhouse.

This birdhouse is absolutely awesome. I have bought several birdhouses previously that say they are "made for outdoor use," but are clearly indoor decor made from super cheap materials that do not hold up in weather or wind.

Birds Love It!

I have had this house in my yard for over five years now. It is continuously used by the birds. After each nesting, and once I know the house is no longer being occupied, I clean out the old nest easily. After spraying it down with the garden hose, letting it dry, it is ready for the next occupant. Easy to hang from a hook placed in the eaves of our pole barn so it is high and no access from predators. The hole is just the right size for wrens, chickadees, and finches; however, so far, only wrens have been using it.

No wrens in sight yet; however, the houses look nice, are well made and I'm hopeful that I'll have residents soon!

Lovely large wooden well made bird house. It's ready to use right out of the box. The hanging material is robust and screwed in with screws, making the ability to hang adjustable and durable. The air vents are wide enough to allow air but keep out predators. Quality product for the birds in our yard for us to enjoy.
