So, while this birdhouse displays that it is constructed sturdily with screws, they do not reach through the top piece. My box came a bit banged up and one side of the roof was displaced. This was glued, held in place by 2 thin staples. Sigh... I glued it back in place and will hang it out, but those screws appear to be just window dressing. The house is made of nice wood, good size, pretty and will be useful
Birdhouse came assembled. I only had to pick a spot to hang it. I purchased for my grandson. He's waiting for the Wrens to arrive. I have 1 myself. The Wrens nested there 2 or 3 times last year. This is a very sturdy birdhouse & easy to clean out.
This is a well-built birdhouse and the entrance hole is properly sized for wrens. There is plenty of ventilation; because we have had trouble with wasps building nests inside birdhouses, I took the precaution of stapling screen over the ventilation openings.
I don’t expect the bird houses will survive well or for very long. Assembled with staples and glue and the screws are there mostly for decoration and non functional

Doesn’t ’ hang right!! Spins around in the least amount of wind!! Wouldn’t buy again! Have tried everything to stop the spinning!! Nothing works!

As I took it out of the box, it fell...
As I took it out of the box, it fell apart because screws were not long enough to fasten the roof to the house. I tried to glue it together because I don’t have tools and the roof is not aligned and water will get in.
