Missing pieces.
This order was missing pieces. I assembled all of the brackets with plugs. It was very easy with a plastic mallet. However, when I went to assemble it, I discovered that all of the anchor stakes. It came with plenty of stacking stakes but they aren't long enough to anchor the boards into the ground. The anchor stakes are longer and have a jagged end. The stacking stakes are shorter and slide into the anchor stakes. Trying to contact Home Depot to get 6 stakes shipped to me.
Be careful with assembly, fragile parts.
The plastic brackets that go on the end of each board are very brittle. When I installed the plastic stakes to connect and secure the joints I broke 2 of them. I then learned that they had to precisely aligned before pushing the stake through the brackets. This could have been explained in the assembly instructions. There were two extra brackets in the shipment so they were accidently packed or the breakage is common.
Happy gardens
FrameItAll‘s design assembles easily: I needed only a rubber mallet! The included directions are just okay, but the company has posted great YouTube videos. Lowe’s price is competitive with buying directly from FrameItAll since Lowe’s offered free shipping with a purchase of $50. My shipment came promptly in perfect condition.

These were easy and fun to assemble. I didn't use the cross boards and when I filled the gardens with soil, the sides that were 8' long bowed out. I wrote to the help line and they sent me instructions that made it very clear how to add the cross boards. The cross board helps hold the top boards aligned but the bottom boards still bow out even after I moved the soil out and reset them. The plastic boards are just flimsier than I expected. However, now days it is hard to find straight boards of wood and the other options for raised gardens had their issues as well. I do like the overall look of these beds. Only time will tell how well they hold up but for now I'm looking forward to getting the gardens planted.
Decent raised bed
The bed looks good. It's a nice color but the composite pieces are NOT solid. They are quite hollow and chip and crack easily. I purchased 3 of these 4x8 beds and I had 3 pieces that came chipped and/or cracked. Gardener's had no issued requesting the manufacturer send out replacement boards and stakes.

Everything about this has been great. I found it to be reasonably priced for the size and material, even when compared to building from scratch. It arrived several days ahead of schedule. It contained all the required parts. It was so easy to assemble that my kids put it together for me. All the materials are high quality and nice looking. I am very happy with it.

I got 3 of the 4x8 11 inch high beds for a new garden that I'm putting in. I think it took longer to make sure they were square, to themselves and to each other, than it did to put them all together. I'm a light framed female that isn't particularly athletic and I was able to build and install all 3 beds by myself in about two and a half hours. I was incredibly impressed with how easy they are to set up. I was a little nervous about how much they cost but they saved me so much in time that I think it was more than worth it. The instructions are clear, but don't help a lot with making sure the bracket hinge pieces are lined up properly with the multi-directional brackets. If you get these you'll want to pay attention to where boards join with the multi-directional brackets. If you lay it out as you go and you won't have any problems. It's super easy if you make a mistake, the locking piece comes out really easily with a screwdriver. The boards are a lot sturdier than I was expecting, I'm very pleased with the quality. There was no bowing or instability once I got them filled. I was very happy when I realized that each bed comes with 2 boxes and that those 2 boxes could be cut down to perfectly cover the ground inside the bed to help choke out the existing grass.
I ordered and set up a few of these over the past 1 yr in my expanded veggie garden, and ordered my last one I needed, this Aug 2019. Stacked them 3 planks high which gave plenty of root depth. (Explored in making own from cedar cedar but after adding up everything and constructing it by myself (woman) ...the few extra dollars were worth this click and install system.) I even did a hack on one garden bed, planks cut easily with a hand saw, I sank short deck screws through the corner joiner plastic and into the boards. The last yr ones fared well in heat and in our Ontario snowy weather. No cracks nor discolorations or fading. No need for any yearly maintenance. I am thoroughly pleased with this product, hubby and our family and friends are impressed.

Last year, we put assembled 5 beds for a starter garden . I’ve installed wooden ones before, but worry about their longevity and chemical treatment. They were relatively easy to install, though ours came with zero instructions so we had to go to their website. Fast forward a year, and they are a MESS. Winters in PA aren’t that bad, and the plastic has all warped, they are no longer even close to level and many of the pegs have come out and bent. Where they are three boards high (per the kit), the middle level is popping out. I doubt they will make it another season,

The kit was easy to put together, but the instructions could be a little more effective. It's important that the ground be level. That issue is not mentioned. Also, use of the 90 degree corners was not clear, at all. I wasn't able to figure out how to incorporate them into my project.
[Rewarded Review] Overall a good product but incomplete for stacking
This is the third composite garden that I've purchased from Lowe's. The other two we purchased were the gardens that were 2 high (11" tall). I saw that they made 5.5" gardens and the description said these were stackable. For a lower cost, I was able to purchase two of the 5.5" gardens with the intention of stacking them, cheaper than purchasing the garden that was already 11". However, even though the description says they can be stacked, the disclosure was not made that the garden bed set did not come with the stacking joints. I had to then go out and purchase these separately, which delayed my garden setup by over a week. I love the composite gardens and they work really well; I've not had any problems with those. I think the description should say that these can be stacked with the extra link to the stacking joints that are compatible and the disclosure these are not included.
NOT THE SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCT
I ordered this online due to non availability in the store-not a problem. When I opened the boxes to inspect the product, there were 5 broken boards and numerous broken attachments. Had to take it back and order another one. Opened the SECOND one AT THE STORE and there was one broken board. COME ON!!! The boxes did not look damaged on either shipment, so...??? The store manager at Lowes offered me a discount on the product they had in stock. Thank goodness, because I was NOT waiting ANOTHER week and a half for another shipment. The product I was FINALLY able to build is the SAME brand and NONE of the pieces are broken. The only problem is, I had to buy more boxes because I had to stack them 2 high. They are only 4 inches high instead of 11 like the other. I DO like it so far-just put it together yesterday and filled it all in. It is easy to put together and seems sturdy. Just wish I had my 11 in. high because I had to dig down to make up the difference. SO! I WOULD recommend this product, but if you have to special order the one I did, good luck having no broken pieces.

Good quality, no defective boards. I like the wood/polymer mix, more weather resistant than 100% wood. Hubby and I assembled everything in a couple of hours. However, that included a weed barrier and chicken wire barrier (we have a mole problem) so for the frame itself plan about 90 minutes. It all fit together well. My husband is an engineer and spatially smarter than me, it would have taken me much longer to figure out the geometry! We'll see if its still standing a few seasons from now.

We bought one of these kits last year with the two-inch width boards and bought two of these kits this year with the one-inch width boards. Quality control at the factory isn't very good since last year's kit and one of this year's kits had multiple broken boards, clearly broken before shipping since the box wasn't damaged at all. A quick call to Home Depot, then a call to the manufacturer, then an email to the manufacturer prompted them to send replacement boards free of charge. No big deal, but the packing person should have noticed they were damaged and not sent them to us in the first place. Other than that the quality was good. Very happy with how last year's kit has held up and we expect the new ones to last a long time as well.

I purchased these beds nine years ago. They were easy to put together, were very sturdy, and looked great in the garden. But there are some downsides. First of all, they are really pricey, and they do not last forever as I had hoped after making such an investment. Perhaps it was because of the environmental effects of sun, summer heat, and cold winters, but after three years, the pressure from the inside from the soil started to warp the boards. They began to bow outwards and gaps started to appear between the upper and lower boards. A few of the boards also became brittle and developed cracks. Last year I finally had to pull them out and replace with cedar boards. The good news was that at least I was able to reuse the corner brackets as well as some of the boards, but the majority had to be discarded. I wish they had lasted longer than they did.
