Great options for creative gardening

The flexibility to change the configuration to suit individual needs is greatly appreciated. We ordered 3 sets of the 8' X 8' to create 2, 4'X 20' garden beds. However, the snap together capability is exaggerated. We did require some tools to complete the assembly. The instructions were different from one box to another, even though the products looked to be the same. Assemble all the sections & brackets before assembly & it goes together well. Nothing was mentioned about insuring the unit was "square" before securing the anchors. Don't skip that step. We used a rubber mallet to drive the anchors into the ground. 2 bracket split when anchored so we used plumbers glue to repair them, not wanting to wait for replacements. We love the results.

The main reason I did not give this product a higher rating was that several of the timbers/side pieces were already warped. One of my main reasons for buying this product was because it was advertised as not warping like regular lumber. I would have sent the pieces back and asked for a new pieces but it was too much of a hassle. I also would have liked timbers going through the middle of the 8 X 8 garden to square it up better. Other than that I like the way it looks where there are no warped pieces. I wanted to submit a photo but I got a message that the size of my photo was too large.

This came together nicely. It was easy to put together but beware: You get the number of pieces listed in the description and not in the photo. We got the 2" series 4ftx16ft. You would need 8 of the 2 way end pieces and 12 of the 3-4 way and 26 of the boards. This kit does not come with enough of the boards or 3-4 way joints to make 4 complete 4'x4' squares as showing in the photo. We have 3 complete 4'x4' square sections and some left over parts. I think we figured we have materials to do about half of another square. Overall it is a good quality and easy to put together (our 11 year old son did a lot of it) but I was disappointed to be one planting section short. We will eventually buy another kit and we will keep the extra pieces in case of future breakage (but not expecting that since these are so strong). We will also need to order more 3-4 way joints just to properly complete the squares we have.

Assembled in under an hour and it looks great!

I bought this about a month ago. I was delivered to my front door in two boxes. When I started putting it together I realized that the spikes that join the corners were missing from one box. I sent an email and within a week the missing pieces were delivered. I had it put together in under an hour. 8'x8' doesn't seem that big, it doesn't even look that big - until you start filling it with peat moss, dirt, garden soil, etc. I had put it together with it two boards high. At 8x8 that gives me a requirement of 64 cubic feet of dirt. That's a lot of dirt.

Shipping took a couple of weeks but knew that up front. Came in and missing a few parts. Company sent me the missing pieces that took some additional time. Finished assembling last night and fill with dirt. So far so good. No instruction to tell you that the divider is only one and not one stacked on another. No instructions nor videos that I could find to tell you this. Had to just count up the boards and look at the invoice/ package contents to makes sure I was not missing any boards too.

I've had a raised garden for a few years now, but the untreated lumber finally disintegrated and had to be replaced. I was searching for something eco friendly, not too expensive and that would last a few years. This raised garden was just what I was looking for and it is beautiful! I simply tore down the old one and built the new frame around my existing 4' X 12' space. I plan to purchase more of these to heighten the midsection of my garden to make it more interesting. I would definitely recommend this product for gardeners of every level!!

Raised Garden is a wonderful idea and product

I bought this raised garden (4' X 16') to set up a vegetable garden for the first time in my life. I installed in on concrete slabs which required me to cut the stakes to the specified height. This was easy. The product is well made and it was quite easy to set up. However, my set did not have the assembly instructions. When I contacted the company they realized that they did not have assembly instructions for the 4' X 16' unit. They never produced one. They emailed me the instructions for the 4' X 12' and I was able to use that.
