This umbrella lacked any sturdiness and broke within days of putting it up. Very disappointing WalMart.

[Rewarded Review] Convenient shape and tilting mechanism, overall good product

I love this umbrella and I'm surprised how much better than rectangular shape works compared to the two smaller round umbrellas I've been using. I have one corner of patio left without tree cover, and unfortunately the windows get blasted with summer sun. I also really appreciate that it tilts in two directions. The construction and parts are lightweight, but seems solid and there's no wobbling. The assembly instructions are pretty good and the whole process took maybe 10 minutes. One person could handle it easily. The main pole disconnects easily into two pieces for easy storage. It fits well into a standard weighted umbrella holder. The umbrella canvas is lightweight so I'm hoping it holds up under our intense summer sun.

[Rewarded Review] What I wanted to cover half my deck over my deck furniture

I like it! I was surprised it came in such a small box. I thought I had the wrong umbrella. It is full-sized. There is a pole to put into your own base, and the top snaps in. There are four longer pole inserts, just four, and I advise uncranking a bit to understand where these go. They fit in easily then you crank it open. This is the first umbrella that had an easy to use tilt button. It was so easy and intuitive. It looks great, and it seems to have more stitching and treatment against sun rot. That is a good think. The whole set up took five minutes and I did not even read the instructions. There is a top tented opening to let air out. Hopefully that works well. I wanted this umbrella because when everyone is shopping at the same time for an umbrella, that is a bad thing. I have mine for the rest of the season and beyond. You absolutely have to have a base. I used a top-of-base bag made to take sand so I have extra weight to hold the base in place. If you want an umbrella that looks nice and is easy to set up, this is it. Hopefully it will last. This color is apple green and that is something different. There are other colors because one color won't fit everyone's taste.

I tried to do a return and they won't let me.

Disappointed

The fabric on the umbrella is very flimsy and the slightest breeze lifts it. Maybe because of the shape and size. The pole doesn’t support the size of it. Just my experience with it. When trying to return I have to pay for shipping and it won’t be included in the refund. Offered $10 if choose to keep it. It may work for someone else and that’s good.

This umbrella does not do well with any kind of breeze! One of the long supports broke at the 2nd hinged joint.

I mean, it works for what I need it to. It’s plastic and I needed a base to hold an umbrella WITHOUT a table. A freestanding umbrella base. All the others were ridiculously overpriced. I would have paid more but there was no middle ground. This one is plastic and has a year warranty. ? works for now.
