Great chairs. No need to add furniture protectors, which is a bonus. The seat area is nice and wide, which feels luxurious.

Do not buy the walnut chairs. In the photos on the website they appear warm. In person they have a green tint and are completely different than pictured on the website. In addition, customer service has been terrible. I do not recommend buying from Allmodern.

Solid well made chairs!! Came all put together which was a big plus. The box it came in was damaged and I was worried I’d have to return them but they were well packed and not a scratch on them.

Nice looking chairs but when you sit down on them you feel like they are going to fall apart or break underneath you. They creak a lot and the legs separate from the undercarriage of the chair so they are not connected. It’s a shame because they were not cheap and we bought 8 of them and I really regret the purchase. They look nice but if you are going to actually use them you are better off getting a higher quality chair. They haven’t technically snapped yet, but it’s only a matter of time.

Not built to last. Have six of them. Chair broke tonight at dinner while I was holding my 3 year old, luckily I took the brunt of the fall. Upon further inspection other chairs have noticeable cracks present in them, and no one in the house weighs more than 160lbs. Would not recommend.

I provided 3 pics with different lighting and at different angels hoping this will help others. I choose items from Wayfair based on reviews and pictures provided (more provide me enough info to make my best choices). When I shop on line I search for color and style only. I never use a Mfr name, but most of the items I’ve ordered so far have been Safavieh (and I don’t discover that until unpacking)! This company thus far has given me quality, color, style and even more total satisfaction! From rugs to pictures and furniture. I am no interior decorator, I buy what I like. My home is becoming its own style (maybe more eclectic) but it’s “Me and what I want”! Wayfair has pretty much been my Covid shopping choice and I’ve been treated fabulously by Customer Service and Delivery folk. I missed out on the assistance of getting someone to help put my items together since Wayfair choose to keep all involved safe and me. Some items have been a challenge, but I think appreciate my choices more!!! I think if folks reviewed more, they’d make Wayfair an even better choice to help you shop. I’m one satisfied customer

These chairs are extremely solid. They arrived well protected (perhaps even a little overdone) and already assembled. The white *does* tend to scratch easily with use (a little hard to see in the pic), so I would more than likely purchase black in the future. I thought it would take a lot longer for the white to scuff and would be ok with the "shabby chic" look after long-term use, but they are scratching right away. Otherwise, the look, feel, and sturdiness of these chairs is excellent.

Beautiful! Arrived in perfect condition packaged in one very large box. Thought they would be more delicate, but feel confident I wont need to worry about heavier people visiting. Wider seat than expected. Ordered "Wayfair Basic Tufted Gripper Chair Cushion" for sitting long hours. (Nice colors. Great reviews). Will follow up on how the cushions fit.

These chairs have high quality modern farmhouse feel to them. They do lean back a bit further than a traditional dining chair but nothing a pillow placed behind someone’s back wouldn’t fix. We are using these more as occasional chairs than for a dining room table so the slanted back is a bit more natural for sitting and relaxing. The construction and finish are spot on. Price is a great value. I would buy them again.

After 3 weeks of daily use (2 meals a day, for 150lb. adults) the spindles that hold the front and back legs together are popping out! One has come completely out on one chair, and one on the other chair is on its way. To make matters worse, I waited a few days to contact Allmodern for return/replacement (just busy) and apparently the return/replacement window is closed! It has literally been 1 month and 2 days since I ORDERED these chairs! What a shame that the quality of the chairs AND the customer service is so poor, as the chairs are very cool and were comfortable (until they broke).

This is a beautiful chair architecturally speaking and as a seat in general terms it is fine. However, the ergonomics are off. As a dinning table chair I don't recommend it because the backrest leans too far back, and as a lounging chair it does not work very well either as the chair is slippery and sits higher off the ground than most - this works for us because our table is in between counter height and regular table height. I am 5'4" and when on the chair my feet do not reach the floor comfortably. The black finish although gorgeous shows sweat marks when people get off the chair. If you are after looks, as we are in this case - this is a great chair!
