Not a fan of these chairs to be honest. I had issues installing it and then I wasn't happy with the final product either.The material does feel heavy and solid, but the holes for installation didn't line up and I had a lot of trouble getting the nails in correctly. Originally I thought these would take no more than 30 minutes to put together by myself, as I have done with many chairs in the past, but this took more than 1 person and probably like 2 hours to get it right. I finally got it to work by taking it all apart, and trying to line all the holes before any nail went in. The instructions didn't say it had to be a specific orientation, so I just chose randomly, but that was wrong.After installation, I was not happy with the chairs because of the seat surfaces. Wow are they prickly. I would not recommend ANYONE who wears shorts or nice clothes to sit on them. I would never let my guests sit on these because it would probably ruin whatever they are wearing. Aside from jeans, I wouldn't want to sit on this material either. Kinda sucks cause it compliments my kitchen quite nicely. Less

This bar stool kit looks good and sets really nice. The wood smells like tea leafs. Kinda weird but it’s not bad or strong. Also the wood pieces fit ver tight so you will need to use a rubber mallet or your hand to knock the tops into place. Once you start the screws with your hand you can use the included allen or use your drill wilt a alled bit. Just make sure you do not over tighten the bolts. Also in the photos below I showed hot the metal pins fit inside of the wooden foot. The metal shoe plate and the plastic adjustable anti scratch bottom base pins are very nice.
