Economic faucet combo for guest bathroom

This is an economic option for a guest bathroom. It has a blending valve that prevents sudden temperature changes if a toilet or otherwise changes the water pressure on a shared water line. It was relatively simple to install. The installation of the tub spot requires a soldered copper connection to a threaded adapter for the spout.

Purchased as a replacement to my old American Standard Faucet and so far no issues works just fine and doesn't look cheap like some of the other faucet kits I've seen at the same price point.

Tub spout leak

The adapter sleeve for the tub spout is plastic and so I hand tightened it to make sure it wouldn’t split. Nope. Split and started leaking everywhere.

The shower faucets match our sink faucets. It looks like the manufacturer stopped making these so thank you for having these in stock!

Looks great, not happy with results

After a recent remodel, the bathroom looks great, especially with the beautiful faucets. However every time i go to use the shower, I’m left unsatisfied. Without a manual temperature setting, i cannot get the water temperature high enough to be pleasant. If you prefer a hot shower, i would not recommend this faucet set.

American Standard Quality Deminshed

We have been using these fixures while renovating homes. They were great quality for the price, features, and appearance. The pieces were never ALL PLASTIC. They were nice heavy weight. What they have sent is Garbage, all plastic replacement pieces, in a broken box, restrapped.

Bad managements on both Home Depot (HD) and American Standard (AS). The display model is in chrome finish but HD stocks the brushed nickel boxes in the place. I came back to swap for the chrome finish. Unfortunately AS packed the brushed nickel set in the chrome box. I had to come back again to find the right one. Also, this model requires making threads on the end of the pipe in order to screw the spout in.

One tiny issue

We used all American standard products in our new home, and they are all gorgeous and perfectly functional. The only reason I took a star off for this shower said it is the plate behind the handle stays loose and cannot be secured to the back plate. This is a aesthetic cover for The area where the screws are, so I understand the need to maintain access but it’s likelihood to wobble and spin around when I clean it is pretty annoying.
