Not good for family with dogs
This rug is really pretty. I just received it last week and it was a little loose, I was waiting to put a rug pad beneath it, until by dog who has never eaten anything, had a lick fit last night and destroyed it. Maybe not the most dog friendly rug

This is my all times favorite rug!
Bought it the second time. The first time I bought this rug on sale in a slightly smaller size 5 x 8', but with the time just realized that the size really mattes. I loved that rug, but every time I was looking on it, I thought that it's a pity I did not choose a bigger size. This time I got the same rug, but in a slightly bigger size 6 x 9'. The price ranges in between what I paid for the first rug is really significant, but this time I am really happy. This rug cares so much character and beauty: it's tribal and looks divine with my mix of contemporary and antique furniture. The texture and color spectrum are amazing! Also, I realized that it's really important to look at the care instructions. You must mot use the power brush of your vacuum on this rug.
I am SO happy with this rug!
I bought it in 9x12 night/cream color option. Although it's not wool, it's fairly soft and feels very substantial. It's not a flat weave as many jute rugs are. It has a bit of pale brown in the mix (just a bit!) which I like because it matches the color of my walls. I waited a long time to buy this rug and I am so happy I finally was able to buy it! Very, very happy with it and I feel the design is timeless enough that I'll be enjoying it for years to come.
