Very Pleased

Got this after my $300 food processor that I absolutely hate stopped working. It is very easy to use without a million little attachments like my more expensive one. The only thing I did not like was that after washing by hand, I noticed condensation inside the handle (it's see-through). It meets my needs for now. Made super smooth hummus and a very yummy Cilantro cashew jalapeño dip.

Great product! It is easy to interchange tools, clean up is fairly easy. The only tool I haven't used yet is the dough tool but all others work as described. I removed 1 star just because the puree button can be a little tricky. Sometimes it's better just to use the blend function, especially for pesto. Other than that, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Disappointing

You only know what you know. I have had my vitamins since 1995 and it works as well as the first day I purchased it. Nothing can compare. Then I purchased my Cuisinart food processor many years ago. That thing was amazing and very satisfying. But over the years of having it, the plastic just got brittle and eventually broke And I finally gave it away and decided to order the ninja. My daughter is a big fan of ninja products and owns. Probably everything they offer and swore by this.

I love my ninja food processor. I can make cookies, pie dough, pasta sauce, chop veggies, slice and dice with a versatile blade. It's easy to use and set up once you learn all the functions. It holds 9 cups and can go up to 1000 watts. I got this on sale at Bed Bath Beyond back in the day for less than $100. No idea how much it is now, but so glad I snagged it when I did. It is a pain to clean and store away but that's what you get for the convenience it brings to preparing meals.

Ninja food processor is highly praised for its powerful motor, versatility, and easy to use. It’s efficient in chopping, slicing, shredding, and making dough. I bought this for my mom couple weeks ago. She used it for shredding and mixing egg rolls ingredients. It saves half of her time compared with no machine help. She really loves it. Easy to clean and in acceptable price. Highly recommended and would buy it again.

Ninja food processor with auto IQ can chop, puree, mix and slice. it comes with a recipe leaflet. I mix my doughs and batters for pizza, bread and cakes. There is a slicing/ grating disc so I can grate and slice vegetables. It purees. It can perform on Low, High and Pulse settings. There is an auto-IQ program which once selected can start immediately and automatically stop when processing is complete. The device is simple, even intuitive. It is easy to wash. It is amazing value for money! My only concern is that it does not puree as smoothly as I got used to, when using a small Ninja blender I had in the US. I do not know if the motor is not equally strong or the bases are not as sharp but it is the fact that I like making a raw veggies soup consisting of lettuce, avocado, sweet pepper, garlic, tomatoes, lemon juice, salt and olive oil. It is simply not as smooth as I got used to! Other than that I've been having my Ninja food processor with auto IQ for over a year without any issues whatsoever. It is a little helper, with its special attachments designed specifically for dough and the disc to grate/ slice. I whole heartedly recommend a Ninja food processor with auto IQ .

Works great, but the bowl is cheap plastic

I have broken this bowl twice. The 1st time, it cracked and leaked. I was able to purchase a replacement bowl (because the bowl is not covered under warranty). The 2nd time (last week) the bowl literally exploded while I was making humus and now the bowl is not available for purchase because this model has been discontinued. The processor works great, but it's just a paperweight without the bowl. I have owned this processor for less than a year. Buyer beware! (I will never buy another ninja product!)

[Rewarded Review] Ninja Processor

Only used it a couple of times for chopping so far. Four blades work fast and cut into uniform pieces. Powerful motor. Unit is heavy. Suction cups are annoying when trying to move processor. Rubber/plastic gasket is fragile and confusing. Previous processor worked fine without a gasket and I had to work to get it on straight. Hope it's not an item that wears out or tears and needs to be replaced. Shute for shredding and cutting seems a little small. 9-cup capicity is a good size, not to big or too small. Overall, it seems to work well.

[Rewarded Review] Satisfied! Worth It!

I really enjoy using my new Ninja Food Processor. I have not used all of the features, but the features that I have used work extremely well. For example, instead of cutting/shredding the cabbage, I used my new Ninja food processor. It is also great for making purees. I can't wait to use my food processor to handle the chore of mixing the butter and flour for my pie crusts.

Buy the Cuisinart instead

Ninja Food Processer v. Cuisinart. Cuisinart wins hands down when it comes to mixing batters.

Wow...The Ninja Professional Plus Food Processor product is awesome as well as a time saver. I have already made pizza dough with the dough blade. And what a time saver shredding zucchini for bread. Slicing veggies to freeze from the garden. I have used other processors before but this one is absolutely my favorite. It slices, grates, food processes, makes dough and so much more. It has a couple features I really like. One being that if the bowl is not all the way on. The buttons blink to let you know. Nor will it start when not locked into place. The lights go solid to let you know it's on correctly. Also a nice little feature is the lid locks into place to use. There is a button on the lid to release the lid from the bowl. Came with easy to read and understand directions for use of different features as well as came with a little recipe book. For me this is a game changer and time saver in my kitchen. It even has suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place while in use.I do wish however the opening on the lid was a bit bigger to use larger veggies more easily like zucchini, squash and cucumbers. But all in all this gets used daily.

Ended uo purchasing the Cuisinart

Returned. I like the aesthetics of it and I like the multiple functions. However, the plastic pitcher that holds all of the food in is cheap. I made chocolate chip cookie dough batter in it and it created deep indents/scratches!! I don’t understand what is in chocolate chip batter besides the chocolate chips that would cause such deep scratches. I used a silicone spatula to scoop the batter out. I decided to use it again and made a black bean brownie batter. It just couldn’t pulverize the beans enough so while eating the brownies, I kept getting pieces of the outer shell of the black bean (I used canned). It made the brownies less palatable. Also, I had to clean the unit after using so I put it in my dishwasher, top rack. The handle is a problem because it holds water there. And I couldn’t get to it to dry it. That moisture will lead to mold… Overall, I don’t expect the pitcher to last long. And it doesn’t pulverize food enough for my tastes. There’s no way this thing is going to last. I suppose you get what ya pay for. This unit is cheap. I ended buying the Cuisinart classic series 14 cup processor. Holy Toledo!! That thing is a power house!! (No, I’m not a competitor or paid person. Just a mom who likes appliances that actually work well). It’s $250 but we’ll worth it

[Rewarded Review] Great processor at a great price. Would buy again!

Our 30-year-old La Machine food processor finally gave up the ghost after struggling to make cashew butter. I did some research (actually a LOT of research) for the replacement processor and finally selected this Ninja unit. The old La Machine had one speed - and you had to hold the Pulse button down while it ran.

[Rewarded Review] I LOVE this food processor

After browsing waaay too many brands and models and reading far too many customer reviews on multiple websites, I was ready to give up on finding a good food processor with a decent capacity for a reasonable price. Then I saw this one and just decided to take a chance on it. I'm SO glad I did! This thing is a beast, and it has a generous capacity for making almost anything. The setup was so easy and intuitive, I didn't even need to read the setup directions. It's straightforward to clean, and comes with great blade attachments. It is not quiet, but considering the power this thing puts out, I wouldn't expect it to be. The suction feet are serious, it's not going to migrate across the counter while it's running. The main blade is... deadly sharp. It's honestly kind of scary to hand wash it, so I make sure I pay very close attention while doing so. It's handled every task like it's nothing so far and I like the different mode options it offers. This thing is excellent and affordable. If you're on the fence, I recommend going for this one.

[Rewarded Review] Great Performer, Confusing Controls

The Ninja is tad noisy, but less so than many other powerful food processors. Not something I'd want to use in the middle of the night with anyone in the house trying to sleep, but again, it isn't really any louder than comparable units.

[Rewarded Review] Just OK

Ninja® Professional Plus Food Processor with Auto-iQ is very useful for cooking your meals from scratch everyday. There are three blade assemblies to chop, puree and to make dough. It is easy to use with simple auto IQ one touch buttons. The backlight LEDs are a nice touch and make the food processor look fairly modern. The machine stands firm with its suction cups fixed to the kitchen countertop and does an amazing job of shredding, slicing or chopping with ease. The 1000- peak-watt Motor base does get loud sometimes but the work done is great. The 9 cup precision processor bowl makes measuring quantities easy but I wish its material was a bit sturdier than the present. The 9-cup bowl makes it impractical for small jobs since cleaning it is not a quick job. Unfortunately, mine chipped the very first day I used it when it fell down about 3 ft. However, this machine does stand as a useful helper in the kitchen with all it's multi functions and uses.

[Rewarded Review] Powerful food processor

Ninja doesn't need any introduction and this time, they have done it again. This is one of the most powerful food processors I've used so far with 1000W power. It's so powerful that they had to provide suction cups on the base to hold the device down to the counter to keep it stable during operation and they do a very good job. We also own Ninja's AutoIQ blender which is also a 1000W machine. We have been using it for little under 2 years and are very much pleased with that. So I had no doubt about buying thisNinja food processor. I can blindely buy and trust any of their kitchen item. This food processor has proved me right again.

[Rewarded Review] Well Made Processor

The Ninja Professional Plus Food Processor is Ninja’s latest food processor that comes with their Auto-IQ presets. If you are familiar with food processors, then what comes with the Ninja is no surprise. It has the standard chopping blade, and slice/shred/grating disc, feed chute, and processing bowl. It came with the surprise of the dough blade (none of my prior processors had one of these), and the aforementioned Auto-IQ settings.

[Rewarded Review] Excellent Food Processor

Ninja has been making kitchen gadgets for quite a while. My first experience was a small blender that I purchased over 10 years ago. I was surprised, after having gone through several smaller blender products that were pricier, how much stronger, simpler and better the Ninja was. The good news is, with the newer generation of the Professional Plus line (what is this MS Office?) Ninja hasn’t lost its value proposition. The Food Processor is a versatile kitchen tool.

[Rewarded Review] Large and in Charge

I'm a big fan of Ninja kitchen small appliances. I think overall, they do a fantastic job. I'm a cooking newbie, normally afraid to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. Not only do Ninja products, like this food processor, perform well, but they also include fun recipes to try (not to mention the large swath of recipes available online for these products).
