Orange desk. Not brown!

The construction of this desk is nice but the color is terrible. It is orange! Calling it brown is a glaring misrepresentation.

Perfect desk

Beautiful desk, solid quality! The bamboo knuckles are subtle and add an elevated design feature. It is perfect height- when seated, my chair and legs fit well and comfortably under the desk top. Finish is nice as well. Very pleased with this desk!

Would you like an orange to go with that decor?

The only reason I didn't give a five is because this desk is SOoooo ORANGE. It's not wood-colored, it's orange. It looks like it was spray painted with leftover Halloween decoration paint. Other than that, it was easy to put together, it's sturdy, and it's functioning well.

Even Better In Person

I was a little hesitant to order this desk because I thought it may look distorted in person, however I could not find another desk online that offered interesting design so I purchased this one. Not only did it come 4 days in advance, it is super lovely in person! I am very pleased with this purchase, it is the type of piece I plan to keep for the life time. The tiny gold knobs are a perfect touch of style and the assembly was a piece of cake.

Beautiful desk and would have been fairly simple to put together, but was missing half the washers when it arrived. Was able to find replacements at my local hardware store and put together myself. It's a good size, not too small and the details are lovely. The top is maybe a slightly different shade of white, but that may be me being particular. I don't mind it and think it was a great desk for the price.

Pretty!

Be careful with its glossy lacquer finish, but this is a good-looking piece of furniture! We loved this for a bedroom desk (lower traffic), but even without daily-use.... the "this & that" of life still allowed for some scratches and little chips off the pretty bamboo-style legs. (I would still buy it again-just love the style!) Heavy, but simple to put the legs on and assemble.

This desk turned out to be as stylish as I hoped! Great quality with the bamboo look for a coastal flair. Paired it with a lucite desk chair with gold legs. Very pleased!

Looks Good but Kind of Defective/Chips Easily

I wanted to love this (and I do love the way it looks) but unfortunately some of the detail around the perimeter of the desk is preventing the drawer from opening. The raised carved semi circle etchings are too close to the drawer, causing the drawer to be very difficult to open and making indents/damage in the drawer itself. I've also noticed a few chips in the paint after only gently using for a couple of days.

Attractive Desk

I find this desk very attractive. I've had it a few days and noticed my leg was getting irritated by the underside of the desk drawer (which is exposed) and found it highly ironic that there was a Quality Check Pass sticker next to the one bad area of the desk. The raw (unsanded) bar of wood is located at the front edge, smack under the center of the drawer (where I sit). Since I otherwise like the desk, I plan on putting tape over it (maybe duct tape?), so it will be smooth.
