Gorgeous rug for my dining room!

I looked at hundreds of rugs online and kept coming back to this one. I ordered the 8'6" x 11'4" for my dining room. It is beautiful! You would not necessarily need a pad but I always recommend one. It's not the thickest rug, but it's also not thin like the printed rugs are now, so a 1/4" pad underneath makes it lush but not too thick. I like the dual-surface pads since I am putting it over hardwood. The rug is very soft, and the fringe is really short and compact, almost not noticeable. I like that because it makes it easier to vacuum. It's pretty close in colors to the photos online. The color is slate, so the base color looks like a pretty medium to charcoal gray at times, but it also has a blue undertone. I love blue but really don't have it in my house, and this rug is not a problem that it flashes some blue because it's very mild. It's enough color to be grounding in the room, (my walls are White Duck by Sherwin Williams) but not so much that it's too dark. The other colors in the rug are a goldish-tan, there is some very muted light blue/aqua, and off-white. One thing I could not see in the photos on line but really love is that some of the outlining of the pattern in the off-white color almost looks raised compared to the other threads, and it adds dimension. The colors and pattern are muted enough to be interesting but not overpowering in the big size. It also does not create light and dark patterns when you walk on it. One thing to note is that while the dimensions say the rug is 8'6" x 11'4", when I measure the rug it's actually 8'9"x 11'5.5". So just measure your space well in case dimensions are not exact. If I can figure out where to add photos I will.
