Nu Calgon products perform as intended by the manufacturer. fyi its A little cheaper to buy from A local supply house but these days travel is ill advised.

wouldve been negative stars if that were and option. This poor rating is for the seller. By the way it is listed and by the way of the description, I thought I was going to receive two gallons. It does say size 1 gal. but it also has "per 2" in the title and "multipack quantity 2" in the description. Seller is misleading product. After receiving only 1 gallon, I went back to look at it again and found a negative review, from almost 4 months ago, from someone with the same problem. I'm sorry but if it has already been brought to your attention, why wouldn't you fix the wording in the description? Why wouldn't you change what is misleading customers? Looks like you, the seller, really dont care what your customers think which really says a lot about you. Next step is to go to Walmart customer service to see what they can do. I was very disappointed when I got the package and there was only one.

My HVAC man recommended this for cleaning my electronic air filter. I had previously cleaned the main cells of the electronic air filter in my dishwasher (as I was told to do), but the dishwasher detergent discolored & damaged the aluminum fins (which are $600 to replace). I wanted to be careful about the new cells I had installed. This stuff is easy (just dilute, spray on, wait 5-15 minutes & rinse) and does an amazing job. As soon as I sprayed it on, black gunk was coming off and draining away (I did this in my bathtub). My components are sparkling clean again. Thank you. My only complaint - it took 2 months to arrive (but that's a seller complaint, not a product one).

I cleaned out 35 year old GE PTAC A/C units that were black with cigarette smoke and 35 years of crud. These units had not been water cleaned since at least 1998 even then they were black with smoke. This stuff just melts the crud off! A friend who rents and repairs smoothie machines told me about Cal Clean regular, the HD is an excellent product. Food safe too!

I bought these to clean my reusable electrostatic air filters. It cleaned the hell out of them, and everything else it dripped on - my driveway, my deck, etc. If you use this stuff, be careful what you get it on, because it'll probably leave a mark. It's strong stuff.

Coil Cleaner

This is a good coil cleaner that I have been using for some time. Diluted correctly and it works really well at cutting through the dirt and schmoots that collect on condenser and evaporator coils.

I bought this type on it's recommendation for tobacco residue cleaning. My slab type evaporator was not that bad with dust/mold/etc., but was brown. I used 1 gallon at 32/1 with a 1 gal. rinse. Not totally clean, I used another gal. at 8/1 following with a 2.5 gallon rinse and it was nice. Now, even after several weeks, rather than dreading to hear the fan come on, I often run to a vent to get the clean (not perfumed) scent. This product exceeded my expectations - very satisfied!

Amazingly effective, but requires 1:5 dilution with water

First, don't be alarmed that this product says it can damage aluminum. It is designed for aluminum electronic air filters and won't cause any damage IF the cleaner is diluted 1:5 in water. Do not use it undiluted or it will probably damage your filters. That being said, this stuff is incredibly effective. The first time I used it was after having cleaned our Honeywell filter as usual in the dishwasher. Cleaning that way stained the inside of the dishwasher but it seemed to do a good job. Even so, the filters seemed to be getting dark, dull, and less effective. So I bought this cleaner, and after an initial panic over potential damage to the aluminum filters (calmed by looking up full instructions on-line), I tried it out after dishwasher cleaning. Within 2-3 minutes dark residue started dissolving turning the yellow solution dark brown/black. After 15 minutes I rinsed and was stunned by how the metal started to look bright again. I repeated the cleaning to get more crud off, but a third cleaning didn't add anything. The metal was bright, and when re-installed the filters appeared rejuvenated, cleaning like they had when they were new. Since then we clean with this product every 2 weeks (which requires no repeats) with great results and no signs of any damage.
