Don't love it. Dont hate it.

Absolutely sheds. I opened it maybe 10 min ago and already shedding. Arrived dirty but was fairly easy to clean. I ordered the black one but it’s def not as white as pictured. More ivory, definitely has more of a yellow undertone.

Good looking rug

Recently got this to replace an older area rug. Very warm looking and great colors. Would look nice in a variety of rooms. I like how it catches colors from other items in our home.

Sheds more than a sheepdog

I had high hopes for this rug - it’s gorgeous right out of the box and it’s thick and cushy. However, it sheds like CRAZY so my office always looks gross and dirty. I have it under my desk so my rocking chair is on it but I pretty much stay in the same place. I don’t understand how it can still be shedding this much after having been vacuumed weekly for a couple of months. I just pulled off one week’s worth of shedding see picture. Wish I’d gone with something higher quality. The pictures are what it looks like when it has JUST been vacuumed

Beautiful thick wool rug!! it didn’t even need a slip pad underneath. It’s so thick and heavy. It stays beautifully in place. And yes, it’s going to shed some but I think that’s with nearly any wool rug. But the bonus is this rug will last a lifetime if taken care of. Don’t hesitate on buying this rug. It’s extremely well-made. Don’t mind my disgusting furniture in the background. Still waiting on my new couch.😀

High Quality Thick Rug

This rug is thick and comfortable. Honestly much higher quality than expected. It’s dog approved, our dog loves laying on it more than her bed. We have love this bold pattern in our living room and it looks clean and sharp always.

I'm using them for runners in my pink front room.

I got the pink version. My front room is almost the same color pink. It's like a lavender pink with a cream colored background. I'm trying to order another one. I'm using them for runners on either side of my front room. I love overstocks wool rugs. 2 m nothing better than a wool rug. I clean them with spot shot which you can get anywhere. I mean if I get a stain on them. Wall is really very durable. I like it a lot I mean the rug ha ha. Go for it pink you're so beautiful

Striking MidCentury Deign in Graphic Black and White, I used a 9'x12' rug under a King size bed. Since these are all handmade carpets, they can vary quit a bit, What I thought was going to a helter-skelter and the pattern of blocks instead became almost a tailored keyboard treatment that surrounded the bed. I LOVE THIS RUG. I would have purchased large one but you did have a long narrow one for hallway at front door I have 2 major paintings on the landing. We have high ceilings and the black and white looks do great. So contemporary. Even though thin, it is durable and looks much more expensive. I should order a back up one just in case something happens. It has a great personality and I am so picky. I’m very happy I found it!!

Terrible quality rug

I am incredibly disappointed in these rugs. There are bare spots throughout the rug and glue is smeared in various areas. Normally, I would have to pay more than $*** to ship them back but I contacted Jesse in customer care and after taking a look at a few pictures I sent, he provided me with prepaid shipping labels to return them based on it being considered "defective". This is my first time ordering through Overstock.com for rugs and the service I received from Jesse ensured it won't be the last. Thank you!

Don't bother!

We had ordered this rug 2 years ago to use in my husband's home office, so when it got damaged, I figured we'd order the same one since we both loved the way it looked. WRONG. This new rug is terrible. It came threadbare along some of the edges (like, I rolled it out and they were there). This rug feels much thinner and lesser quality than the previous rug. It was relatively inexpensive, but completely not worth it in my opinion. I've just had to order another rug to replace this one since it's so bad.

Poor quality and is tan not white (see pictures)

This rug is made wrong for it to continuously shed like crazy. I wish I had read the one-star before purchasing as I received the rug today and even after vacuuming it for a half hour and going over each section 5-6 times it still sheds like crazy. The color is also not White, is it a light beige or tan which is not what the description says it is. if I wanted a tan and black carpet, I would have purchased a black and tan carpet. See the pictures for the balls of fibers even after vacuuming and how much it does not match items that are white like my sneaker and coaster.

Great rug, but avoid if you have cats

The pattern of this rug is beautiful and it is heavy and well-made. Taking off one star for durability however. If you have cats I do not recommend this rug - my cats find it very appealing to scratch and within minutes of unrolling it there were long visible threads pulled from it. I think the looped texture makes it fun for them to scratch. :(

Not a bad purchase, great value, wool rug!

Ok, this is worth every penny, I am a rug enthusiast and the price cannot be beat for the hand knitted wool rug- but, I gave it three stars because it collects hair, dust, etc., more than most and it's colors show the collection of floor goodies way more than expected. Of you vacuum often and are used to that kind of hairy rug situation, then it won't bother you. I am bothered and it is annoying. I don't have time to vacuum all the time! I sweep, and sweep and sweep and it works. Overall, this is a wool rug, it will last, it will feel like quality on your feet, it will look like wool on your floor, but you paid about 1/3 of the actual price for a wool rug that size, so pat your self on the back, you are a bargain shopper! (You don't care about vacuuming, you are a tidy Person already)

Hot garbage

Rug smelled intensely like a wet basement when it arrived. When I opened it I immediately noticed several stains and that it generally looked dirty. So far, I’ve vacuumed it at least 9 times, each pass filling the canister. I’ve also steam shampooed the rug twice. It still smells. I have no clue what this rug went through before it came to me, and at this point I’m not sure I want to.

Black and Tan NOT white

Nice quality however rug is not black snd white definitely tan. Rug was shipped quickly arrived well packaged. Great quality for the price however the description clearly states the rug is black and white as you can see by the photo I threw an old white hand towel next to the rug. It's clearly not white. Otherwise it's a nice rug especially for the price. I bought the 4X 6 unfortunately I will probably end up sending it back. If you want a black and white rug I would not advise.

Love my ebony and ivory rug

Rug was well packed and arrived safely. I love and apparently all my visitors love the look of this ebony and ivory handmade statement piece which looks much more expensive than it was. It makes my living area look great. Only 2 issues: there wasn't a larger one left and it sheds which I'm hoping will quit with a few more vacuumings, which Overstock notes is to be expected. I bought a non-skid pad but don't really seem to need it. Would definitely buy again. Would buy a larger one if they come back in the larger size.

Beautiful rug at first. I've had it over a year. I bought the black and cream rug. Within a month I noticed the black was shedding onto the cream. Other people have uploaded pics in their reviews. It comes up when I vacuum but sheds again within a day. I love the look but super high maintenance. If you have it in an area that isn't used much then it'd be great. Also it's a Berber carpet which snags.

Good, but not great

Overall I like this rug, but I have a few concerns. I ordered the 7' 6" by 9' 6", and it is short by a few inches in both measurements, which I understand is common with wool rugs, fine for my use but be aware of it if you are looking for an exact size. The pile is looped, which if I had known this, I never would have purchased because we have dogs and cats, and their nails catch on any looped rugs we have ever had. Luckily it will be in a guest bedroom that I am redecorating, so low traffic. Everyone has mentioned the color and they are correct, it is black and cream verging on an oatmeal color, which is what I wanted, but in no way could it be called white. My biggest disappointment is the quality of the edges, where random black bits seem out of place in the cream, and vice versa. Would I have purchased this if I saw it in person? Probably not, but I love the pattern, so maybe. Overall I am happy with the look, but the quality is lower than expected.

This is a great rug! It is true to measurements, which made it fit in it's designated space perfectly for me. The light color is a little off from the photo. It is a soft "dirty" white, so if you are expecting true white - it is not. In my case, this is a desirable color. Well worth the investment. Well made, will last for years with the proper care. Thank you for a wonderful product!

This rug appears to be nice. I did not unroll it all the way out since it was not what it stated in the description, so I cannot speak on how thick the pile is or how it feels when walking on it. The rug is most definitely not black and white. It is not even cream or off white. It should in no way be described as white. It is a very dark tan!!! So, I was very disappointed in this purchase. It you are looking for a black and tan rug, go for it! If I didn't need a black and white rug, I may have kept it but sadly it must be returned.
