Love my new shag rug!

Great price and quality! The order was the best price I could find online, was beautiful and came on time. I love the durability and the fact that my family and pets can be on it all the time in my family room! Great purchase!

Not quite what I was expecting

The quality is not quite what I'd hoped for, but it doesn't take away from the look or design of the rug. The pile is not really shag. The fibers are long but there aren't many of them so the effect is of a thin, cheaper looking rug. It looks fine from a distance and the design is nice.

Although I haven't changed my initial rating I must say that the customer service from this company is outstanding! After reading my review Beth reached out to offer a return. I declined since I really do like the rug. They now are issuing a discount which is amazing. I will recommend Rugs USA. It is refreshing to find a company this customer oriented.

i previously stated my disappointment with not being told it was not in stock until after i ordered my rug. The rug arrived sooner than the estimated date given, and we are very happy with the product. High quality rug and we love it. All in all, the overall experience was very good and we have a rug we love. Thank you Rugs USA, you have a huge selection and we highly recommend you company

You get what you pay for most of the time!

I was skeptical about this rug because of the price, but the reviews weren't bad. I should have gone with my gut feeling. As soon as I started unrolling the rug, I could tell it was cheap quality. I don't find the rug soft at all, and I compare it to a cheap acrylic sweater. As far as the way it looks, it looks fine, and if you have socks on and don't feel the material on your skin, it feels ok. I should have returned the rug but because of the price, I didn't feel it was worth paying to return it. I would order from Rugs USA again, but I would spend more money to get a better quality rug.

Beautiful Rug

I bought this rug to lighten up my grey livingroom! It is exactly has pictured. I got the white with grey lines. It's not as soft as I had wanted or originally thought, but I still love it and the kids love it too. I'm hoping with a little more time, it will soften up a little. I have not tried to vaccuum it yet, but bought this because I had read reviews where people were able to vaccuum without a problem of the shag being too long. We will see.

Beautiful at first, degrades quickly

When the rug arrived it was amazing and had a nice, cozy texture/feel. But after only a few months, the parts of the rug that get stepped on the most completely lose their shaggy texture and fall flat, and end up looking much different from the parts of the rug that nobody steps on (like under coffee table) - so you're left with a rug that looks very different depending on the section of the rug. I haven't found a way to get that original shaggy texture back - intense vacuuming helps the strands of the rug stick up a little bit (temporarily), but the strands all still look very degraded. I think the quality must not be great.

Cute rug but poor quality

I've always wanted a rug in this pattern and have been eyeing this particular one for awhile but have been hesitant based on the many mixed reviews. I ended up ordering it hoping I'd get the "good one" from the batch.

Cute but definitely cheaper and not soft

We read through a lot of the reviews on this rug before purchasing it and it did seem like there was some conflict in opinion regarding how soft the rug was. The rug we were replacing was from Home Depot and we had it for about three years and it was just time for a new one. This rug is about half or maybe more thickness that we had in there. It definitely feels cheaper but cost the same

You get what you pay for...

This rug looks good from afar, but it's far from good. The design is spot on. It's the perfect white and gray color, but the quality is bad which explains the price. It's actually made by the brand nuloom, which had I known would not have bought it. I've bought rugs from nuloom before and the quality is subpar to other affordable rug companies. It's very thin and scratchy and it doesn't lay flat due to the thinness and tight weave. It's matted down and doesn't feel good under feet. One side is not sewn straight and the corners pop up (even though it wasn't rolled, it's folded.) I'm putting it in my master, mostly under my bed so I'm going to keep it til it wears (which I'm thinking will be a year or two at most)

Prepare for headaches from the chemicals

The rug was well packaged and delivered in a decent amount of time... thats about where the positives end. It is thin, not nearly so plush as it appeared in photos, almost bald looking in places... one side is permanently curled up... and it STINKS TO HIGH HEAVENS. The chemical smell has permeated my home and the first several days I had headaches, burning eyes and nose, etc. I considered throwing the rug in the trash after reading up on the chemicals that cause these issues and the fact that they can continue "off gassing" for up to FIVE YEARS. I will be buying from a green company next time, as getting the smell out of my home has proven impossible. Charcoal, febreeze, candles, scent warmers... nothing has worked. I left the windows open for several days after unrolling it and still my whole home, clothes, couch, etc... all smell bitter and like chemicals.

What I was anticipating!

I was really hesitant about getting this rug. It's my favorite style and I've always wanted one. The deal rug USA had going on was def not to be missed. So I decided why not. Better than paying hundred of dollars. So, you definitely get what you paid for. The rug was exactly like the design on the pictures. I can confirm that the rug is kind of thin and not as "fluffy" as I feel most people say. However, I purchased the rug for my living room to be put on top of carpet. With that being said, it is comfy and has 'some' fluff. I definitely recommend purchasing the pads if you are wanting to get this for hardwood floor. My rug came in good condition, no folded flaps. All I had to do was just flatten the corners from the rug being rolled up because that's how it's suppose to come delivered to you. I definitely recommend this company when they have good sales going on, you just really have to look at the reviews. Those have a huge impact on the reality of the product. Great rug so far!
