The instructions had the strap sticking up, above the piece of furniture you were trying to hold. I measured - twice - and attached the strap so it doesn't show, behind the furniture. We wanted to use this to hold bookshelves that could be climbed by our 5-year old grandson who is on the Autism scale. We are pleased with the results; and so is his mom!

Velcro does not stick well to the wood of the book case. I had to add some screws into the back of the book case to hold the velcro backing in place.

This product was easy to use and is strong enough to hold your cabinets or shelving units solid.

Comes with both Velcro or wood screws. Directions have you screw it into a wall stud. There wasn't one where I need to anchor mine so I used a drywall anchor which worked great. Definitely recommend this product.

Good quality strap. Same construction as my last purchase 5 years ago. Haven't had a quake that tests there holding agility, but I think they will help secure the tall furniture and refrigerator in a shake or hard tug.

Great Safety Device

I used this to securely attach a refurbished 100+ yr old glass front curio cabinet to the wall so that it and it's contents wouldn't fall over.
