I switched from non-stick pans for environmental reasons. I am very happy I did. These pans are great.

I really love the shape and size, and the cooking surface area! The handle is fantastic and I love that it is black and preseasoned…

Just the right amount of care to performance

Love it, so much easier to care for than my cast iron. Ditched my ancient Teflon egg pan for this and I only wish I'd done it sooner. I'll be getting larger versions of the carbon steel pans ASAP.

immediate product failure

coating failed after first use due to aerosol grapeseed oil.

Solid purchase

Great until it wasn’t

Loved this plan for the first few months, but then it lost its non-stick coating after frying a hamburger patty. Reseasoning might restore it, but for how long? OXO’s regular non-stick fry pans have lasted longer with no signs of losing their coating.

I like this pan a lot. I bought it for my husband to cook his morning eggs in, but her prefers his non-stick pan. ☹️

Saw reviews on New York Times for carbon steel pans. This was the top pick. Saw others purchased and very pleased. Received ours and very satisfied with the pan. We purchased the 12”. Quality product.

It hasn’t been used yet

This is the perfect pan for everyday cooking. The pan is solid but not too heavy, and is non- stick right out of the box. Recommended by The New York Times Wirecutter reviewers, you can’t go wrong by adding this one to your kitchen.
