Love them! I had them in the 70’s and wanted them again. They are perfect for a smaller space.

This is a perfect chair for use with any table. Our decor is based around the color orange, so it fit in perfectly. Very stable and very stylish.

These came in 2 cartons. 2 in each. We were actually on our way out when UPS knocked on the door. Unpacked and assembled in 15 minutes. 4 chairs. Damage free, really comfortable. Highly recommend.

I bought one to confirm if it goes well with my new dining table. The cushion doesn’t fit snug on the chair, the cover is slightly creased on the edges. The overall look is fine. I would like to buy 3 more chairs to complete my dining set but it is out of stock. It will be nice to know when these will be back in stock.

These chairs are modern and solid. The base is heavy enough and wide enough that you do not worry about children tipping them over. The cushion is comfortable. I wish that the bolts that hold the base to the top of the chair were set deeper into the chair base. Because they are exposed and not set too deep, you cannot use the chair without a cushion. Also, the ball bearings that allow the chair to spin around had not been oiled, so we had to partially disassemble the chair in order to oil them to ensure long-term operation. (I had read about this issue in other reviews, so I knew it needed doing.) These are minor complaints, though, and I am very happy with the chairs.

Exactly as pictured and described

I wanted a high gloss white tulip chair, and this chair is exactly what I wanted! The seat material is sturdier than other similar chairs, and the swivel seat is perfect for our space!

We’ve only opened 4 of the 6 chairs purchased but they were in perfect condition, easy to put together and better quality/more comfortable than I had anticipated. Also, the shipping was extremely quick. I would highly recommend these chairs.

This chair is super cute and super fun to sit on. I love to swivel at times or side to side rocking. The chair is very easy to assemble and can be put together within 5 minutes. The down side to me is that the glossy look isn't as glossy as I expected. The chairs fabric is a little challenging to keep clean so I bought PU Leather covers that is easy to wipe off and keep clean. Still debating if each chair is worth $156.18 with the shipping but it's what I want so I have to pay the price..

Perfect contemporary vanity chair!

Love this chair for my vanity. Have had many compliments on it. Easy to swivel, and slide safely on my tile bathroom floor if needed. Nice weight.

No photo can show the beauty of these chairs! If you have a round table, these chairs are a hit! Elegant, modern and very comfortable! They are really white, shiny and the swivel makes it easy to get up and sit down! The cushion is easy to clean thanks to the synthetic leather cover!

We love these chairs. For the price they are great. Don't lean back in them - they aren't meant to hold the pressure. We had one seat crack when someone leaned back too far. We still bought 2 more this year because we love the look and comfort. We're going on 2 years now with the first ones. After 2 years they still look sharp and they're comfortable so we added more.

The hardest decision I had was choosing the color, I decided on the white and was wowed, The item was a bit pricey but is well worth it.

Fantastic chairs, great price point

I just received these chairs today to go with our tulip table. They are stylish and sturdy and were quite simple to assemble, on top of that had no idea that they spin, which was a pleasant surprise I did not see in the description. I would recommend them and I would purchase them again.

Well made for the price. Chair was well packed and easy to assemble. The lower stand is metal. The chair/seat is a plastic material. Highly recommend.

The black Eero Saarinen style Tulip chair Item #: 14230575 sold by Overstock is a Modway product. It is an excellent reproduction of the original Tulip Chair! The base is constructed of sturdy, lightweight aluminum, and seat is thick, lightweight molded plastic. The color sheen is glossy. The seats swivel for easy ingress and egress with minimal chair "scooting". Comfort is excellent - even for me at 6'3" tall / 180lbs, slim build. The backrest falls upon my mid-back and seat is compact with no overhang. The cushion foam is dense and, firm yet comfortable. Cusion upholstery appears to be a smooth, durable, canvas type material with a zipper enclosure to be removed and washed. Cusion is affixed to the seat via Velcro and stays securely in place. Affixing the tulip base to the seat was simple and easy. Pro tip - tighten the bolts, one turn at a time, in a star pattern to assure it goes on straight. Note: The chairs can scratch easily, and gloss finish can leave slight finger prints. However, don't let these minor matters dissuade you! A simple wipe and carefulness is all that is needed. I have a small, 7'x8', eat-in kitchen / breakfast nook / dining area space, and I belabored over my purchase decision for some time because the wrong set would be overpowering. I paired these chairs with Porch and Den Suffolk 39.25" round clear glass table with chrome pedestal base. Item #: 18241661. A traditional table and 4 chairs is plagued with an unsightly mess of undercarriage legs. As such, that would be at least 20 vertical lines of leggy visual distraction. Ironically, Eero Saarinen's design philosophy was to clean up the under-side leg clutter and as a result the elegant, tulip chair was created. True to form, the visual space now under my table is uncluttered, clean, minimalistic, and pleasing to the eyes! The clear glass table top provides a sense of invisibility thus giving the illusion of more space! The added benefit of pairing with a tulip or pedestal base is that you can move your feet around and about without coming in contact with legs. Chairs can be positioned anywhere around a round table for flexibility. In closing, I wanted a dining set that was minimalistic, classy, modern, clean lines, and timeless. These tulip chairs and my table choice are exactly that! Very happy with my purchase. I hope Overstock continues to stock Modway's full line! Geat quality. Overstock ordering and shipping was fantastic. My order was confirmed by email and text message. I was notified by text message when it was shipped and moment it was delivered. Expect 1 very lightweight box per chair about 3'x3' square.

I love the chairs and ordered to go along with 2 of the armchairs, too. Assembly is easy. I did not receive the cushion covers in the packing box and am waiting to be called by Houzz CS Department to see when they will be replaced. Love the profile of this chair.

We went to Design Within Reach to see and sit in the authentic Saarinen Tulip Chairs and then ordered these. We can't tell the difference. So order these and save thousands. These are easy to assemble. 6 screws. They are heavy and feel sturdy. When you see the seat covers and the foam cushions, you will say, "There is no way this cushion will fit inside this seat cover." But it will!!! Just squish it in! Order them and enjoy. They are happy chairs!
