Not soft at all

Smelly and scratchy. This rug is not something I'd recommend. It looks pretty in the pictures and I bought it for my son's room. While I like the colors, it is not a rug you'd want to really put your bare feet on or lay on. We suffered with it for a few years (the earthy/straw-like smell eventually dissipated) as we didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it, but when we moved, we happily ditched this rug!

This is a really nice rug pictures don’t do it justice. Very heavy and great quality look. What a compliment to my Solid Acacia wood table with hair pin legs. It looks so like they were made for each other. Love it

Really beautiful just too thick for my doors to swing over so I had to return.

Not Impressed

Not too impressed, more orangy than expected, not the dark brown I envisioned, also very dusty, only kept for a few months and then took to Goodwill- also feel that I overpaid for it.

Striped Grey Brown & Black rug

The rug is very nice but we aware! It is a striped rug. Now that I have the rug when I look back at the pics in the listing I guess I can see the stripes, but when I ordered it I thought it was more of a heathered black and brown. It is NOT. It is black-grey-brown-grey-brown-grey-black, repeating. It's just not the look I was picturing for my room so it's going back, but it really is a very nice rug. Also, it's jute so not the softest. It's not a rug that would be nice to sit on if you are someone who sits on the floor (I am).

Substantial rug with loads of color and texture. It goes well with my dark wood farmhouse dining table. My cat is in love with this rug (which works out well as he could never destroy it).

This is a nice quality rug! I was very skeptical to buy but I’m glad I did! I have a neutral/natural/organic decorating style. I would give it five stars but the only problem is underneath the rug gets a bit sandy from the fibers.

This is a quality rug. Much softer than I anticipated it would be. I haven't noticed any sort of smell that some other reviews have mentioned. I was nervous about how cool or warm it would lean overall as the photos online are so hard to read. It is truly neutral. equal amounts of cool and warm grays and browns with a strong reoccurring warm black stripe throughout. Think of this more as a stripped pattern than variegated. If using on a wood floor consider the direction of your flooring's grain and rug position; the stripes run the short/width side. Ultimately I wound up giving this to a family member that had a hot-mess of warm and cool tones in their living room and it ties the space together nicely. I've found that sweeping it like an outdoor mat is actually the easiest cleaning method.
