Shoe rack is just "o.k." It will serve the purpose. However, it was very hard to put together and there was not one single bit of directions on how to assemble this rack. Overstock needs to have better quality control over its shipping practices!!

Holders too close together

Holders are so close together that men's shoes will not fit side by side. Even Women's shoes are too tight.

Works great for little shoes

I bought this for a 5 year old child's closet. It was super easy to put together and It fits her toddler size 11 shoes perfectly. We are using the bottom shelf for flip flops this summer and we will use it for boots in the winter.

What I expected

Before buying, I read the existing reviews, but bought it anyway. As the other reviewers stated, it's really a tight fit unless you are putting women's pumps and sandals on it, but that's what I wanted it for, so it's fabulous. It was a snap to assemble and I didn't find it to be flimsy, but I did face the back tines of the two top rows the same direction as the front ones and put my shoes in pairs one behind the other, instead of horizontally across. Since this was going in the closet, below my clothes, that gives 12 pairs facing out and with the back tines facing the same direction as the front ones, makes it easy to grab the pair and go. I'm thinking about buying a second one, but I'm waiting for the newness to wear off to see if I REALLY like it.

Good for a few shoes

Really cannot place a lot of shows on this rack without the shoes touching each other. This is important since I live in an area with high humidity and much rain & snow year round and it's best not to have wet shoes rubbing against each other, not good for material especially leather and suede.

It worked fine in my walk in closet to keep my shoes all in one place. The product was as it appeared in the on line info.

Good but not meeting expectation

the gap between each shoe holder is very less and it cannot really hold 3 pairs in one row.

Shoe hangars too close

I loved the bottom rack. However, the shoe hangars on the first two rows were too close.
