wanted it to work...
but it was kind of an awkward set up, so that once on, the light wasn't over the chair/table, but just kind of faced down so didn't help with adding additional light to the living room really. additionally, when putting it together, the cover just fell apart and wouldn't connect to the stand. we returned it.
I got the oil rubbed
I got the oil rubbed bronze. I thought it would be a little darker in color, but I love the lamp. Nice design.
Great lamp!
Wonderful lamp to read to. A little short, and I wish the head tilted more, but otherwise It’s very pretty and functional as a reading lamp.

Beautiful and distinctive lamp
I love the simple yet distinctive design. The oil rubbed bronze finish is beautiful and it looks great next to the walnut and rattan accent chair in my master bedroom. It shipped quickly and is very well made.
Nice, sturdy and very handsome lamp. The only thing to be aware of is that it is not very tall but in the capacity I used it it was perfect.

Fantastic Purchase
I bought this lamp because of the beautiful design. I wanted a subtle, but beautiful metal accent in my newly-designed guest room. The lamp was more expensive than I’d hoped but so perfect, I splurged. I was so glad I did. It’s just gorgeous and every time I enter the room I feel happy to have found the perfect accent piece. It is so sturdy and I love the foot switch.
