Worst quality, overpriced and don't last

I bought these based on the excellent reviews and affordable price. I never write reviews but felt I had to for these to prevent others from buying. These are the most uncomfortable chairs, and are not full size adirondacks. They creak and snap any time someone sits in them. I knew they weren't real wood when I purchased, but I did not expect them to chip and peel within weeks of being outside. They are not durable or sturdy. Both arms ripped off the same week we purchased them as the nails provided weren't long enough to securely fasten them to the body of the chair. Sent a complaint in to Target and received no response. Waist of almost 200 bucks - will be disposing of immediately. Do not buy!!!

Spend more, get a better chair

We bought two of these chairs. On one, the cross brace broke off because the screws snapped. When I tried to attach it with different screws, the wood split. On the other chair, the wood started splitting on the armrests. All of this was within 4 months of purchasing.

Attractive comfortable Adirondack (Muskoka) chairs

We bought 2 of these, in red, to replace old, cracking plastic chairs.

Not worth the money

We bought two of these chairs and within a month of not much use, they were both wobbly and eventually broken in several places that we had to throw them out. These are either cheap materials, cheap hardware or faulty design (or maybe all 3). We will spend more money and buy something that will last several seasons, but definitely more than a month.

Very disappointed needed repair, sanding & paint!

Looked very different online, the one I received was painted badly with just a base coat, not sanded with several areas with not painted at all. Surface really should have been sanded and at least one more coat of painted. Also the foot extension has a crack and a break.Very disappointing and the one shown on the website looked great.

Not holding up after 10 days

Chairs have been outside for 10 days and have already weathered really badly. Not sure they are actually meant to be in rain, sun or any other elements. Our old chairs did this after 9 years of being outside even in the snow. Not so sure how these are weathering so quickly

This is chair is minimal in meeting expectations. Wood is very soft, thin, and of low quality. Paint comes off easily and does not wear well. Fairly simple of assemble, but instructions, again, are minimal. Would not buy again.

Look elseware if you want a good deck chair

Very poor quality. They won't support much weight, aren't oversized, poor paint finish and this one came with many flaws. The wood arm slat was split, which would probably split completely off in the future. Knots and dents in the wood pieces. Super lightweight. I'm returning it for a refund.

Very poor quality

Poor quality and likely going to get poor customer service. Both chairs have dings all over them, they also have paint blotches where it looks like it was spray painted in some areas and then covered with white paint to cover scratches, the directions were terrible too… it wasn’t until I got them completely together that I noticed how many marks were all over them. I’ll try to attach photos. I’m hoping to send them back without taking them apart. Both chairs also delivered to the wrong address so the people had to drive them over to our house in their truck.

This chair is just ok. The design is not horrible, but the aesthetics make it look cheap. Now for the instructions... whomever drafted the instructions for Outshine furniture needs to be fired!! They suck at their job. The instructions are nothing but scribbled pictures with zero explanation or direction. Pretty much you have to figure it out for yourself

Poor product

This product is poorly made. Sloppy paint job. Chips edges fight out of the box. Arm fell off as soon as it was screwed together. Had to go to hardware store to buy longer screws. Would not recommend this product. Overstock wanted $* dollars to ship it back. So I’m stuck with it

Sturdy, good-looking, comfy Adirondack chairs

These Adirondack chairs are solid wood, pine I think, stained a nice dark brown. They are large and sturdy, and easy to put together. There is no extra hardware however, and you need a Phillips head screwdriver and a wrench (or channel locks), which are not provided. These chairs can accommodate folks up to 300 lbs., and they are roomy and comfortable even for big 'uns. The "Sunbrella Solid fabric 20 in. Square seat pad with 17 options (2 pack)" (sold separately, shown in the pic) fit them perfectly.

I was super excited about ordering these chairs for my fire pit area. Upon taking them out of the boxes all four chairs has some type of damage. Two of the chairs were painted poorly. I decided not to even put them together yet. I have included three photos of some of the damages. They only allow three uploads. #Diappointed

Do not purchase this chair.

I do not write poor reviews very often, but this chair and company deserves it. Overall quality is very poor. The mill work is chipped. The paint is several colors. The instructions are poorly designed. You have to guess how to put it together in several steps. I did not purchase the most expensive chair, but I thought the price would allow the company to produce a decent product. After I got it all put together, I was not motivated to take it all apart and ship it back. Big disappointment...

I am overall very pleased with them. Two points I would note. Firstly they could be a little more rigid than they are. The frame can be a bit squeegee until manually shaped. Just a little shoogly. Second, I do think it’s important to regularly treat the wood with oil. I left it to weather naturally as I like the effect however this was a mistake. It caused some cracks in the wood and dried out the wood so that it became brittle. The result was some of the seat slats split under the pressure of my weight. Had I oiled them this is unlikely to have happened. I glued the split pieces together, reinforced them (and all the ones that hadn’t split on the seat) with a slightly smaller wooden slat glued and screwed to the bottom of each slat, and rescrewed them to frame. The slat reinforcements cannot be seen from above. I treated the whole seat with a nourishing clear oil. Given these reservations, I would still recommend them. I live at the coast and they are out all year in all weathers. With a little more care I hope to get some years out of them yet. They are still good value for money and are both visually and anatomically pleasing.

Firstly this is a lovely seat. I haven't used the foldup function yet, no need to until autumn/winter. Assembly instructions are clear and easy to follow. I did need an extra hand building it. I also ordered the matching small table. A good set all round. The first one I was sent was damaged, the seller sent another to me within a few days, top-notch service from these guys. To be fair the assembly can be a struggle for one person, holding sections as you screw in other parts.

I purchased two of these Adirondack Chairs from Aosome.ie and I am very disappointed in the quality. The timber is very poor and won't stand up to Irish weather. The screws pulled through the timber on the arms in the first week of use. They may be good enough in a dry climate but these chairs will not last very long in the Irish damp weather. I was disappointed as the description in the advert portrayed them as being very high quality. Spend a little more and buy good quality pressure treated timber if you want chairs that will last.

We really like these chairs. Bought them in red and blue, and the color looks great. There are nine pieces, plus hardware, so the assembly takes time and patience. It gets easier after one or two chairs! We had no issues with damaged or missing pieces and just love the finished product. The chairs ave been outside for several weeks now, including in some weather, and they look great. We plan to bring the chairs into the garage over the winters.

Overall, these are a great value for the money. We bought two in white, as well as four in other colors from the same Outsunny brand. All parts arrived without damage or any missing, and we were able to assemble them in less than thirty minutes each with some teamwork. I removed one star because they nervously creak when we sit on them. My husband produce a small crack on one of the wood pieces in the seat, and he is 190 lbs. With a drill, we loosened several of the screws on the pre constructed bottom seat, as some were screwed a half inch into the wood. That seemed to produce more "give" in the seat. Overall, the paint looks good, they are comfortable, and they look great!
