Light duty frame

Framework is very light duty and bows spaced to far apart. I bought two units and instead of building two houses I combined both frames to reinforce one house. Now I have a spare cover for future. Also the anchor stakes are a joke. I have seen one man tents with better stakes. Definitely have to invest in a better anchor system or all your hard work will blow away. I will not buy this again.

I bought one last year but the winter wind trashed it,so Im trying again!this time Im burying the frame and the cover into the ground instead of sitting the frame on the ground and burying only the cover.(I do live on a windy hill). Im sure Ill be successful this time! Its a big tunnel thats a bit flimsy but worth the effort and risk.recommended.go for it

TRASH

Like the previous review, this pile of junk did not hold up to the wind. We even added better stakes to try and secure it. What a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this cheap product.

not fit for purpose in the U.K

As other review also states steel tubing is not thick enough. Even though the cover was still intact and secured to the base I made (after watching you-tube content showing how to make such a tunnel more resilient), numerous joints suffered shearing at the joints causing the damage shown. It lasted 5 days. Its a write off. Also the quality during construction was poor with tube sections having rust and not drilled correctly. I should have sent it straight back. Please save your money I've wasted mine.

Not just a Polytunnel

The Polytunnel arrived the next day after ordering and I couldn't be happier! I have a large lithographic printer at my work and i have been struggling to keep it warm. It needs to be above a certain temperature before it can even run it's warm up cycle, let alone print. I have tried blankets, heaters, all sort. But then I saw this and it is quite simply brilliant! Not only does it keep a constant warm temperature for my printer, but come the summer I'll have fresh tomatoes for my work lunch every day!

Good value dot money

I am replaccing a polytunnel that got battered in the storms. This new one is still in the box so I cannot comnent on its value. However. If it is like my previous one, I think it is extremely good value for money. (My previous one was battered because I had not got the base rods running parallel so the cover would not completely zip closed. No fault of the poly tunnel....all my fault!

rubbish

After we erected it, it blew across the garden a week later, ripping the fabric and buckling the frame. I mended it as best I could by reinforcing all the poles with steel rods, and added ropes over the whole thing. We've struggled to keep it up now for 3 years, but now every single original pole has rusted and broken! and the fabric is too torn to be of much use. Unfortunately, I have to give the product one star in order to submit the review (it doesn't deserve it!!!)

Good product.

I was able to put this up on my own, although two people would make it a lot easier. I got some ground anchors to fix it down, the strings that are provided are pretty useless. All parts are numbered so its easy to identify each part. Theres no high level vent, so gets very hot when its warm weather. You definitely cant roll the door up with one person. I used old brick around the bottom edges to hold down the bottom of the sides, but it says in the instructions that you can just pile some earth on it.

Excellent solid Polytunnel, I have this up about two months now and it’s going great. We live in quite a windy area so we put it in a spot that has shelter on three sides. There is plenty of room in it and we are growing a big range of vegetables. We added extra heavy duty ground pegs and added eyelets to secure it - the pegs that come with it are not sufficient at all. I’d have given 5 stars otherwise. Great price, fast delivery, would definitely recommend as long as you don’t mind putting in the extra effort to secure it.

I just purchased my second one of these green houses. We use them for Chickens. The only downfall is if you dont have a pen for your birds to get out in for the warmer months, this will be too warm for them. We lined the inside with chicken wire, weighted the oustside bottom of the tarp with rocks, and built a gate in the front. This was easy to set up with two people. Shipping is fast. Inexpensive way to get a good coop.

The greenhouse was just delivered a few days ago, Feb 3, 2023. All the parts were in the box. Assembly was easy for me; it would have been easier with help, but I did not need any. I would also recommend using and electric screwdriver and socket wrench instead of the tools given with the order. If you live in a windy area, I recommend better cord and stakes for tying down the greenhouse. It probably took about 2-3 hours to set up. It has not been staked down yet, but it is not that windy where the greenhouse is located.

Please don't buy this

We purchased this in October 2022, by January 2023 it had collapsed due to a breeze of wind, not just collapsed, the whole frame has disintegrated. Never grew in it, not fit for purpose. Contacted BandQ, who told us to contact MH star who now say this item is only suitable for light wind and rain. No company will accept responsibility for selling a poor quality polytunnel. Please don't buy, they have even raised the price from what we paid in October.

Huge disappointment

I was extremely excited to get this greenhouse. My last one lasted through several hurricanes and 5 years. I was excited to have a larger one. This is Extremely cheap quality, have had it less than 2 months, slight storm today and it is completely destroyed. Pipes bent and mangled. Was disappointed with the quality and fit of the cover but was trying to work with it. No sense now.

For temporary use

I waited for a month to see how it survived. Directions were simple enough, definitely calls for two people to hold unsecured parts up for assembly. Everything feels pretty flimsy though. Tarp has multiple tears already and won’t last much longer. Even with attempts to adjust, I could not get it to fit enough to close the “door” my final effort broke the zipper. The tie downs and spikes are totally insufficient. One string loop fell off with slight tension and I purchased more appropriate stakes in the first week because the small, metal ones kept popping out of the ground. I believe the only reason it’s still standing is because of the trenches dug. Overall, I wish I spent a few more bucks on a better product

I'm so happy you sent me this email because it gave me faith that you will stand behind your products. I ordered 2 greenhouses. I was so excited. My husband, daughter and myself put them up. We tied them down securely and were super happy with the look and durability other then one of the zippers broke soon after we got it up I wasn't to bothered because my hubby said he would just build me a lightweight door for it. Then we got a storm and it wasn't even that bad of a storm but the ropes actually tore from the tent. All the time downs were still in the ground. The greenhouses were a mangled mess. I'm super bummed that they would have ripped from the rope. Weird the tie downs were still in the ground. They are salvageable. About 6 or 7 bars total from both were bent or broken. I just really want my greenhouses. They were up for literally 2 weeks max. Please help me resolve this problem and stand behind your product. I just got back from out of town over the weekend from my sons wedding or I would have addressed it already. It happened a day before I had to leave I have several people interested in purchasing one. Thank you

I live in a windy, wintery area and knowing a snow was predicted a few days after I put it up - I thought it would be a good test before getting plants started. Last night it was "WINDY" this morning we have snow, after several inches fell, I went out to sweep off what was piling up. ALL SEEMS WELL- I haven't unzipped it to go in because the snow is several inches deep around it but, looking through- it seems dry and as the snow came off it actually appeared to puff up -like it may be holding warmer air inside! So, Yes, I am pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to having a harvest !

6x3 poly tunnel

Well can't beat it on price and after reading some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive, but. The frame itself was easy enough to put up, it is very thin tubing and about the same construction as a kid's garden toy but I added 3 vertical supports to the ridge and additional poles on the base to uprights to stop the thing being blown away and also 2 wooden purlins on the roof which has given much addition support. I feel that I wouldn't have even got the cover on without damaging the frame it's that lightweigh. The cover seems to be the best part of it. It's reasonably tough and has a mesh in it so shouldn't split and run. I've also added a toe board so slightly more is dug into the ground to hold the cover down so it doesn't blow off in windy weather. Time will tell how it lasts I guess.

Surprisingly sturdy metal frame, it was a bit fiddly to put up and really does take 2 people and a few extra tools. The cover is reinforced plastic but the seams are the weak spots. I am lucky enough to have some polytunnel tape to hand and I taped all the joins prior to covering the frame. I am in a particularly windy spot and I would imagine it would be fine in a sheltered garden. The tent pegs supplied are not really sufficient, I made extra pegs and hammered them into the ground over the bottom rails. Polytunnel is a great height to stand up in and I was surprised at the room inside. Definitely a bargain buy if you are able to do some slight modifications and I'm tempted to buy another.

Excellent well designed inexpensive greenhouse

Set it up in about 4 hours. Instructions are a diagram that works well. Cover has extended flaps to anchor it down. It is very important to take the time and set it up properly and anchor it down properly. I live in a area that is very windy, 20 plus MPH winds happen daily. I placed boards on the extended flaps then lined 36 cement blocks around on top of the boards. The greenhouse is well designed and amazingly easy to use. It has zipper doors on both ends and all the windows/vents are Velcro and seal very well. I have a small electric heater in mine so that is important to me. Fabric is of good quality. Mine has been set up for a month now and I'm very happy with this product. Excellent product for the money.
